Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Heat

Having moved the chest over, and climbed beneath it into a dark corridor, the nameless girl walked, in search of the targets of her quest.

"My first skill!" She chuckled, juggling her daggers as she strutted forward, skipping throughout the dimly lit halls.

It was just a few seconds later when she noticed an opening ahead of her.

"Adventurers here I come!" She whispered, slowing down, and creeping up towards the arch way.

[Quest Complete!]

[You have obtained the skill, [Energy Weapon].]

[A strange, powerful, and unfathomable existence has taken a liken to you! Your charm has increased by 5.]

Seeing the panels, the girl couldn't help but be stunned for a moment.

Though her surprise was halted by a sharp pain within her head, a strange feeling encompassing her entire existence.

"Nngh…" She groaned, her daggers falling to the ground as she dropped to a knee.

She groggily looked at her palms, waves of energy flaring up before her eyes.

"[E-Energy Weapon]…" She muttered, a longsword slowly materializing in her grasp.

The pain within her head slowly starting to subside.

"I-Incredible." She muttered.

She could create weapons out of nothing! Just pure unadulterated will.

She closed her hand and wished for the sword to disappear, the blue sword fading into a cloud and returning to her body.

"Well… I guess I should free these guys. Maybe they know some stuff about this place." She looked up at the five standing, or more accurately, hanging bodies.

It was 2 men and 3 women, standing by two shackles attached at their wrists.

It held them up, and their heads dropped down to the floor, their nude, yet attractive and well shaped bodies on full display.

"Interesting thing we got going on here…" She spoke, entering the room, approaching the 5.

The second she did so, a small blonde hair girl to the far left slowly lifted her head.

"T-Tully?" She whispered in a week voice, confusion on her face.

"No…" She said, the Nameless girl approaching her as clearly she was the only one that was well enough to speak.

"I'm not Tully. Who are you? What happened to you all?" She asked, the shackled girl taking a few moments to absorb the Nameless girls visage.

"You're pretty…." The girl whispered. "My name… I'm… Faye." She spoke through clear fatigue.

Seeing the girl, Faye, had paused for a few moments to organize her thoughts, the Nameless girl reached for something dangling off her loincloth.

She detached a small rabbits foot from it, bringing it up to her other empty hand.

'[Energy Weapon].' She thought, a small dagger manifesting in her hand.

She skinned the foot with perfection, the heat from the energy blade slightly cooking the meat.

'Hotter…' She thought, bringing the blade closer, watching as it glowed with more fervor.

'Just a little more.' She said to herself, a bead of sweat dripping down the side of her face as she watched the blade reach unbelievably high temperatures.

It most likely would have charred if she didnt stop.

"Here, eat this." She said, bringing it to Faye's mouth and letting her take a few bites.

There wasn't much resistance as it seemed Faye was quite hungry, and was naïve enough to listen to a complete stranger.

"Now… What happened to you all?" She asked again, pulling the meat away from

Faye's mouth.

"We… There was a demon in the throne room!" Faye said, making her raise a brow.

'The swordsman?' She thought.

"It was nearly ten feet tall… It had a crown of horns, shoulder length black hair… Every bit of it was frightening, let alone the pure power oozing off of it!" She said frighteningly.

"We had saved Tully, but lost Riley because of me…" Her head started to droop, her eyes watering.

"I can barely even remember what happened next… We tried to find a way out… We walked for what seemed like forever, and we found no exit… Then…" Faye stuttered.

"Then it was the feeling. The presence. The creature watching over us… It wasn't even a minute before I blacked out! The next thing I knew, I was here, everybody chained up but Tully missing…" There was a deep frown on her face, tears falling to the floor.

"It's all my fault." She cried, almost bawling her eyes out.

Though in the next moment, she was taken in an embrace, the raven haired warrior giving her a hug.

Their bare breasts pressed together, the warmth of another's skin making Faye tear up even more.

Both of them started to feel a little warmth in a different way, but neither knew what the other was feeling.

For Faye, it had felt like she was alone for months, only able to glance at her unconscious comrades occasionally.

As for the Nameless girl, she never experienced much affection in m her life overall, so of course this little intimate interaction would make her feel a certain way.

"Here." She said, backing away from Faye and grabbing the key from her waist.

She reached for the shackles and undid.

*Thud!*

Faye's weak body fell straight onto her, the two resting face to face, chest to chest on the floor.

There faces were merely inches away from each other, and there seemed to be some invisible heat that built between the two, their minds going a little hazy.

"Mmh~" They both pushed their heads forward, their lips connecting.

Faye was pushed over onto her back, the raven haired girl putting herself between her legs.

Faye's hand found itself on one of her decently sized breast, the other placed on the back of her neck, pulling her in even more.

"W-What are we doing?" Faye suddenly asked, pulling herself away.

"I-I don't even know…" The nameless girl backed away, sitting on her knees.

"I just… lost control." She muttered, rubbing her head.

"Y-Yeah… Me too." Faye replied, a deep blush on her face.

"But it's not like I didn't like it." She muttered.

"Maybe… We could continue this later, you know, after I've saved your friends and we've gotten somewhere safe." The nameless girl said, rising to her feet as she reached a hand out towards Faye, helping her up.

"…Maybe I'd like that."
