After the shocking revelation, Soulfire seemed to fall into a daze for a couple of minutes leaving Uriel in an awkward position. On the one hand, he wanted to leave as soon as possible, but on the other, Soulfire's trait could prove to be useful to him.

"Hey, are you still there?" Uriel probed.

"Yes, yes, I'm sorry, I was just... I mean, vampires? Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't believe you, but it seems taken from a fantasy novel." Soulfire shook his head.

"You're saying that lighting candles for people, knowing when they die and then communicating with them before they go to the afterlife is possible, but growing fangs and drinking blood is too much?"

"If you put it that way, I guess it's not that weird. Still, do you think it works in a way similar to possessions? If so, there might still be a way to save my little brother."
