Chapter 116: Goblin Slayer

The visit to Hogsway was supposed to be a simple scouting mission whose main goal was to obtain information about the attackers. But the mercenaries had come mentally prepared for a fight, in case the raiders decided to show up at the village again.

"Come on, you ugly bastards! Let's see how tough you are!" Dorven shouted, glaring at the enemy.

Aruna took position behind him, aiming her crossbow over his shoulder. "There's too many of them. We are going to need reinforcements."

"There's no time for that," Spider whispered, coating his sword with an odorless red oil that he poured from a small glass flask. "Let the hunt begin."

The Dreamwalker was the last to step out of the hut, holding a shotgun in his right hand and a glowing white card in his left.

Pale yellow eyes watched from the bushes, observing the village from a safe distance. The dense foliage offered sufficient camouflage for the green-skinned miscreants, making it impossible to accurately ascertain their numbers.
