Chapter 61: Avelina, Are You Okay?

Hesitantly, Draven strolled to the table and couldn't help but notice the lit screen of her phone. She was in her call log, and her finger was pressed against his number.

Draven pulled his phone out of the pocket of his coat, a bit concerned about something. He glimpsed the screen only to realize that Avelina had called him not less than ten times.

He began to wonder. Why didn't he hear it ringing?

Then he was suddenly hit by the realization that his phone was on vibration mode due to personal reasons. He was so occupied with his thoughts that he didn't even notice it vibrating in the pocket of his coat.

Draven pinched between his brows and let out a soft breast. He kept the phone aside and squatted down to stare at Avelina's sleeping face.

"Avelina," he called her name in a soft, almost hushed tone as he removed the curls that fell over her face.
