Chapter 176: Please...Stay Away

As they were about to take the last three steps to reach the second floor of the building, the sudden melody of a piano began to reverberate.

Olive immediately furrowed his brows. Lucien looked around, confused.

"Who is playing that? Could it be—"

"Come." Olive moved up to the second floor with her. The closer they got to the room where the sound was coming from, the louder the melody.

Standing before the supposed room, he grabbed the handle and slowly opened the door. Lucien stepped in with him.

At the center of the room, a lanky figure sat with his dark hair cascading down his shoulders. His slender fingers were effortlessly moving on the keys.

"Who's there?" the figure asked.

Olive's eyes instantly broadened. That voice! He knew it!

"Valentine!" he hollered. 

"Huh?" The silhouette immediately stopped playing. He turned around, and the second his gaze met that of Olive's, he went still.
