Chapter 223: What Are You Hiding?

On the chair, Ceicei was seated, unbothered. Of course, she had heard them coming, and she didn't need to be told for her to know that they were the royal guards.

"Arrest her!" Lancelot commanded. 

Two guards rushed in to apprehend her, but Ceicei raised her hand, stopping them.

"Do not touch me! I'll walk on my own," she said, her eyes burning with hatred.

But Lancelot was not willing to risk it. Witches could do teleportation spells, so he was afraid that she could possibly do so if she was not held. 

Ceicei, who could already tell what he had in mind, rolled her eyes. "You think if I wanted to run, I wouldn't have done so before you even besieged my home?"

Lancelot frowned in thought. She was indeed right, but still. "Handcuff her!" he ordered, before shifting his attention to Ceicei. "Sure, you can walk on your own, but you will need to be in handcuffs."
