Chapter 6: *I JUST NEED YOUR NAME!!*
"What is wrong with you?!"He asked with an annoyed tone.
"Oh hi ghost guy what brings you here?She smiled brightly and continued"I knew you were here".
Lucas stared at the girl in disbelief, before disappearing and appearing back with a first aid box.
Her brown eyes shone in excitement and she pulled him to the living room while the blood on her wound dripped on the floor.
'Did she not feel the pain or was she ignoring it' lucas thought in his mind.
"You are crazy"He commented as they both sat on the couch and he opened the box getting the liquid.
"I'm not crazy you are the crazy one. No sane person ignores people"She childishly replied.
"I don't remember saying I was sane"He dabbed the cotton wool on her wound and she winced.
"That's why you don't go around cutting yourself"He bent over and blew cold air on the wound. Lisa watched as his hair fell over his face. Her heart skipped a beat when his lips accidentally brushed her skin.
He pulled back avoiding looking at her blood and took the bandage wrapping it around her wrist.
"You're quiet?"He noted as he neatly wrapped it.
"What a good gentleman who cares. See it doesn't hurt to be one."She lifted her hand up and smiled.
"why did you call me?"He asked ignoring her statement.
"I wanted to ask for your name"
He stared at her with an expressionless face for a minute before saying"Why do you want to know my name?"
"I just want to"
"why?"
"Just because..i want to know"
"That's not a reason"
She groaned annoyed by his answers"I JUST NEED YOUR NAME!!"
"Oh my name.. why didn't you ask, it's Lucas"His eyes twinkled in unshed mirth.
"Lucas.."She repeated his name as it flowed beautifully out of her mouth.
Lucas furrowed his brows and tried to remember something. It was the way she called his name. But he couldn't remember.
"So, Lucas tell me all about yourself"asked Lisa excitedly.
"I'm a ghost"He replied curtly.
Lisa frowned slightly 'He must really be an introvert.'
"I know you're a ghost I just need more.. information about you."
"Are you that interested in me?"she nodded her head vigorously without knowing the underlying meaning hiding behind his words.
"I am something you won't be able to accept, I am something mortals flee from when they see me, something you only believe come in nightmares." He leaned closer leaving just an arms length between them.
Her heart beat accelerated as his piercing cold blue eyes stared into hers.
He sat back straight and said"Breath"
"Huh?"
"Gasp" She just realised that she had been holding her breath. Why did he describe himself in such a scary way. He was just a ghost. Right?"
"Thanks"He returned it with a curt nod.
"Can I ask you something?"She questioned cautiously.
"Hmm"He hummed in response.
"How..how did you die?"She fiddled with her fingers as she waited for his response.
"Aren't you curious..."He chuckled.
She lifted her head up and her face was filled with confusion.' What does that have to do with her question'
"Don't you know.. Curiosity killed the deer".He warned with a serious face.
She had an even more confused face.' Wasn't it curiosity killed the cat?'
