Chapter 2: Planet 816749 “Earth”

[Congratulations to the residents of planet 816749 "Earth". Your universe has reached maturity, and mana will start generating throughout your universe and, therefore, your planet. You are now part of the enlightened races of the 110th universe.]

[You are now able to access your status page]

"What the fuck is going on? This sounds too much like a video game or one of those web novels."

Adam again tries to shake his head to see if the words will disappear, but nothing changes.

"What now? Do I also have a stat sheet? If so, how do I see my stats, then…." Adam exclaimed out loud. But suddenly, more words popped up in front of his eyes.

As Adam was reading the previous messages and looking at his status window, he started feeling the air around him getting heavier, as if it is saturated with an unknown energy, and he starts feeling discomfort throughout his body.

[WARNING!!! Your body is exposed to a high level of mana for the first time]

[Congratulations! You have resisted mana poisoning after the first exposure to mana.]

"What is happening? What the hell was that feeling? I wonder what would happen if I hadn't resisted that energy."

Adam hastily unbuckled his seatbelt and tried to open the driver's side door, but it wouldn't budge. He frantically looked around and spotted his trusty falchion in the back seat. He shattered the window and scrambled out of the car using the sheathed sword. Still dazed from the impact, he felt the ground shake every thirty seconds as if the earth was convulsing. In the distance, he could hear loud, explosive sounds and the eerie howling of animals in the nearby woods. As he wonders what to do next, he gets another message from the system.

[To progress through the system, you must choose a class from the classes]

Adam attempted to reaccess his status sheet, focusing intently as he mentally clicked on the class option. His eyes widened in surprise as a list of beginner classes appeared before him, like something straight out of a live-action Dungeons and Dragons game.

Warrior- Recommended

(A basic starting class. A warrior is a versatile and weapon-oriented individual who fights with a one-handed weapon. A warrior focuses on a balanced approach to combat. A warrior focuses on versatility in combat style and focuses more on a balanced approach between power and speed. Stat bonuses per level: +1 Strength, +1 Agility, + 1 Constitution, +1 Vitality, + 1 Perception, +1 Endurance + 1 Free point)

Adam contemplated his options as he scanned the class choices on his status sheet. The Warrior class caught his attention with its balanced approach to combat, versatility in combat style, and focus on power and speed. He thought being a warrior would be a good starting point, as he could become proficient with a one-handed weapon, well he already was. The stat bonuses per level, including increased strength, agility, constitution, vitality, perception, endurance, and an additional free point, convinced him that this was the recommended choice.

Heavy Warrior

(A basic starting class focusing on survivability and strength while sacrificing versatility and speed. The heavy warrior class is slower and has less movability in battle than a standard warrior class; however, it gains greater power and survivability in return. It mainly uses two-handed weapons or a combo of a shield and a one-handed weapon. Stat Bonuses per level: +2 Strength, +2 Constitution, +1 Vitality, +1 Endurance, + Free point)

Adam looked at the class option and saw the Heavy Warrior class. He read the description and thought about the pros and cons. He weighed the benefits of having greater power and survivability against the drawback of being slower and less versatile in combat. However, he also hated the idea of being a meat shield for others in a party. Ultimately, he decided to see the other options before making a decision.

Rouge

(The Rouge class is a basic starting class that specializes in quick and precise attacks, evasion, and retaliation fighting style. It prioritizes speed over power, making it faster than the Warrior and Heavy Warrior classes. Rouge class weapons of choice include daggers, throwing weapons, hatchets, and other short weapons. Per level, stat bonuses include +2 Agility, +1 Endurance, +1 Constitution, +1 Vitality, +1 Perception, and +1 Free point.)

Adam considered the rogue class and its focus on speed and precision. While he admired the idea of being quick and evasive in combat, he knew he preferred the feeling of wielding a sword in battle. The rogue's weapon choices didn't fit his personal preference. After some thought, Adam decided that the rogue class wasn't the right fit for him and moved on to consider other options.

Healer

(A basic starting class. The healer can heal injuries, remove afflictions, and amplify the power of themselves and/or their comrades. This basic class is not specialized in any kind of magic other than basic healing and is very weak in 1v1 combat. However, this class is powerful when allies surround it. Stat bonuses per level: +2 Wisdom, +2 Intelligence, +2 Vitality, +1 Free Point.)

Adam looks at the healer class option and considers its potential benefits. Being able to heal injuries and support his allies in combat could be invaluable, especially in more prolonged battles or raids. However, he also knows this class is unsuited for solo action and needs more offensive capabilities.

After some thought, Adam decides that the healer class is not the right fit for him. While he values teamwork and support, he also enjoys the thrill of battle and wants to hold his own in a fight. Additionally, he prefers using swords and other weapons in combat rather than relying solely on magic. With these factors in mind, Adam decides to look into other class options that better suit him.

Caster

(A basic Starting class that is focused on magical combat and focuses on wisdom, intelligence, and willpower stats more than others. The basic class is not specialized in any elemental or other types of magic; thus, it is limited in power. Casters are powerful in offense but lack in defense. They use weapons that usually work as a catalyst to amplify their power. These weapons include staves, wands, relics, grimoires, etc. Stat bonuses per level: +2 Intelligence, +2Wisdom, +1 Constitution, +1 Perception, +1 Free Point.)

The Caster class seems intriguing, thought Adam as he reviewed the class options. The idea of wielding powerful magic and unleashing it upon his enemies was tempting. However, he couldn't help but feel a bit hesitant. He knew that the Caster class was not specialized in any particular type of magic, which could limit his abilities. He wasn't sure if he was ready to sacrifice his defense for offense. As much as he liked the idea of being a powerful wizard, he ultimately decided it wasn't the right fit for him. He preferred the balance of strength and speed that came with his trusty sword.

Hunter

(A basic starting class specializing in range weaponry and focusing on Agility and perception stats. The hunter excels in taking down targets from afar with precision and accuracy. They use a variety of ranged weapons, such as bows, crossbows, and firearms. This class has decent mobility and can evade attacks by staying at range. However, they are weak in close combat and lack survivability. Stat bonuses per level: +2 Agility, +2 Perception, +1 Vitality, +1 Endurance, +1 Free Point)

"Well, I am definitely not choosing that. I think it's obvious which option I should choose. I don't think I will ever give up my sword. I'm going to go with the first option."

[You have chosen the Warrior class. Confirm?]

He mentally selects the confirm option and felt a surge of basic knowledge about the class filling his mind.
