Chapter 30: Transmigrator and System

On the bus, a mature blonde woman with big breasts sat in the driver's seat.

She is Marikawa Shizuka and Fujimi High School's nurse. At this time, she looked confused looking at the dashboard of the car in front of her.

"That's different from my car! Etto... Gas, brake, then clutch..."

A young man with spiky hair was about to close the bus door. He is Komuro Takashi, the protagonist of this world.

"Help us!"

Cries for help rang out, Takashi and company saw a group of people running towards them, and behind them dozens of zombies gave chase.

"Who?" asked Takashi.

"That must be Shido from 3-A." Answered the pretty purple-haired girl named Busujima Saeko.

"Shidou?"

As soon as the name was mentioned, the orange haired girl was shocked and her eyes flashed with hatred. She is Miyamoto Rei.

Shizuka wanted to step on the accelerator, but was held back by Takashi who wanted to wait for the group of people to get into the car.

The debate was quite fierce, Takashi stubbornly helped them, he even intended to go down and kill some zombies, but was prevented by Rei.

"You don't have to help them!"

"Rei! What's wrong with you?"

"You don't need to save him! Just let him die!"

Takashi was taken aback by her reaction, it was the first time he had seen her show such an expression.

As the two of them argued, a stowaway they didn't notice watched silently.

In the end, the group manages to enter the bus and a bespectacled man sacrifices one of the male students.

No one noticed this incident because the distance was too great, except for Ars as an observer.

After everyone got on, Shizuka drove the bus through the field. There were dozens of students who had become zombies blocking the road, she bit her lower lip and stepped on the accelerator, and the bus accelerated and mercilessly crashed into a horde of zombies.

Breaking through the iron fence, the bus lifted in the air, landed on the asphalt and sped down the highway.

Everyone on the bus breathed a sigh of relief after escaping the zombie-infested school.

"You will regret this."

Rei glared at Takashi angrily, and sat down next to a gray-haired youth named Igou Hisashi, who was her boyfriend.

"Don't be angry, Rei, Takashi only has good intentions, he doesn't know what's really going on. Don't be angry with him, okay?" Hisashi spoke softly.

"Hisashi..."

Rei's day felt warm, and she buried her face in Hisashi's chest and started to cry.

"Everything will be fine, Rei, I will protect you."

"En, I will trust you."

Seeing the two lovebirds acting intimately before his eyes, Takashi clenched his fists. His chest felt tight watching his childhood friend with another man.

Sitting on the empty chair next to Shizuka, Ars looked at Hisashi with great interest.

(Hisashi... He was supposed to be just a mob character who couldn't survive an episode, now he's not only survived, somehow there's a strange energy inside his body...)

Ars had a guess, but since there was no proof, he didn't know if his guess was right.

The atmosphere on the bus was very quiet, today's incident had shocked everyone too much. The boring and peaceful world suddenly turned 180 degrees in just a few hours, and was filled with zombies.

Who can accept that fact?

In fact, most people would deny the reality before their eyes and wish that this was all just a bad dream.

While everyone was trying to calm their minds, the mature man who looked like a teacher stood up, approached Saeko and asked with a hypocritical smile.

"Thanks for saving us, you're the leader, Busujima-san?"

"We don't have anything like that, we work together to survive." Sakeo answered without realizing that there was an ulterior motive behind the question.

"That can be dangerous. To survive, a leader is needed. The leader manages everything."

The man named Shido Koichi narrowed his eyes, speaking words that sounded reasonable to everyone and made everyone think he was the leader that was needed.

(This person is so petty, he's my least favorite type of person.)

Ars only glanced at Shido briefly, no longer paying attention to the man, he studied Hisashi like a dazed person and only looked ahead.

(Don't tell me... This guy is looking at the legendary system screen?!)

Judging Hisashi's behavior who seemed to be focused on something and ignoring Shido who was making a fiery speech to the students he brought with him, Ars firmly believed that man was most likely a Transmigrator!

While there is also a tendency for Hisashi to be a Reincarnator, he leans more towards Transmigrators.

(No other choice, I have to make sure.)

Ars used one of his creation skills which was the most unique among all his creation skills.

"[Appraisal]!"

When [Appraisal] was activated, he received feedback from the Akashic Records and Hisashi's information appeared in data form.

...

[Name: Igou Hisashi]

[Description: Hisashi's real body has been possessed by a Transmigrator named Lin Fan and he has the Invincible Martial Arts System as his golden finger]

...

(The Transmigrator is from China, he also has a cheating device in the form of a system, Huh...)

Ars looked at Hisashi expressionlessly, but his hands were clenched very tightly. If it weren't for his good temper control, he would have sworn in his face.

He felt that he was being treated extremely unfairly, not only was his luck so bad that he always died young in each of his reincarnations, but he didn't have any abilities that could be considered cheating devices!

What's the point of having memories of a previous life every time you reincarnate if you always die before adulthood?

Now he met a Transmigrator who was given a cheating device, moreover it was a system that was considered one of the OP's cheating tools.

(Am I so unlucky? Look at this guy, he must be opening the beginner pack and receiving OP skills or something.)

Seeing the faint smirk on Hisashi's face, Ars felt his guess was accurate.

This is a normal routine in novels, the system will always provide beginner packs containing OP abilities so that the host can grow stronger quickly.

(But thanks to this Transmigrator, he has helped me verify [Appraisal] as well as being able to scan presence information like them. It was not in vain that I spent 10 years training this skill.)

All the skills that Ars had required energy to use, but only [Appraisal] was different.

The Akashic Records are a library containing all the information in the world. And each world has its own Akashic Records.

In order to obtain information from certain living things or items, all Ars did was create a skill to temporarily access the Akashic Records, and obtain the information he wanted, and that skill was [Appraisal].

Nothing is free in the world, the Will of the World demands a price every time Ars accesses the Akashic Records, and the price is his time, in other words his lifespan.

The more in-depth and valuable the information obtained is, the more time it has to be paid for.

Simply put, [Appraisal] is an almost omniscient OP skill. There wasn't any creature or item information that he didn't know about as long as he used this skill.

(Fortunately I am immortal and the weakness of this skill has no effect on me… In order to obtain Lin Fan's information, this World's Will has invoked 500 years of my lifespan. No wonder in novels, it was extremely difficult for villains to kill protagonists, they were truly Child of Destiny and protected by World Will.)

Ars glanced at Shido who had succeeded in agitating the group of students and having him as the leader. He sat down on his seat with a satisfied smile.

(So naive, are they really going to get better just because Shido has become the leader? Apart from sacrificing others for his personal gain, he doesn't even dare to kill a single zombie)

He felt utter disgust at Shido's behavior.

(It seems that Takashi is no longer worthy of protagonist status with Lin Fan possessing Hisashi's body. With the system by Lin Fan's side, the real protagonist of this world is not worth mentioning. This is all the more interesting, what kind of show you guys will put on, I'm looking forward to it.)

Ars was very happy not to go to the next world. Otherwise, he would have missed Lin Fan who could provide him with entertainment.
