Chapter 32: the giant and the dwarf!!
_At the tournament arena_
"Ladies and gentlemen,it's time to start off the second day of this tournament!"The announcer said with much enthusiasm.
Kuki and Hozuki were chatting in the stands waiting for their match.
"Hey Kuki,have you rested enough,I had beaten you pretty badly in yesterday's sparr after all~"Hozuki boasted while puffing his chest at Kuki.
"Says the one who got knocked unconscious-"Kuki chuckled.
"Hey,that doesn't count,it was a fluke!You sneak attacked me while I was celebrating!"Hozuki refuted with much passion.
"Pss,excuses"Kuki smiled mischievously as he messed with Hozuki.
As the announcer was briefing on some rules,needless to say,this bored Kuki, who is just here to fight strong people.
Then,from a far,two odd looking samurai walked up to the participants' stands and sat down near Kuki and Hozuki.One boy was incredibly tall and bulky,he looked to be close to 10 feet in height.
Strangely enough,the other boy was sitting on his shoulders,he seems to be only about 4 feet tall with a lanky stature,the pair have a comically large difference in height.
Both Kuki and Hozuki took notice of the pair but decided to ignore it.
"Let's start with our first matchup shall we?"Said the announcer as the crowd cheered.
"The 19th division versus the 9th division!!!"
Hearing that it was their turn,Kuki and Hozuki approached the arena grounds as the announcer introduced them.
"For the 19th division,their two members are the youngest samurai,Kuki Uragiru and a young samurai with much talent,Hozuki Uzumaki!!!"The crowd cheered for the two samurais as they saw their capabilities in their last match.
"For the 9th division,they are the Itou brothers!Kuzo Itou and Zoku Itou,the giant and the dwarf!!!"
The strange pair from earlier walked up to the arena grounds with Kuzo(the smaller one of the two) on Zoku's shoulders facing Kuki and Hozuki.
"Start!!!"The announcer shouted with enthusiasm.
Zoku pulled out a huge buster sword from his back while his brother unsheathed his katana(a normal sized one) which is considerably disproportionate to his stature.
A blue aura started to cover their swords as they charged at Kuki and Hozuki.
"Chakra flow:200%!!!"Hozuki shouted as a blue aura appeared around his katana.
Zoku swung his sword down at Hozuki.
*Klang* the sword collided,their blue aura pulsated intensely with Hozuki's one being slightly bigger.
Droplets of sweat appeared on Hozuki's face as he was being pushed back by his opponent's incredible strength,he tried his best to resist causing the ground beneath his feet to crack.
Seeing that Zoku was focusing on Hozuki,Kuki pulls out two knives (with chibi Hanabi on them of course) and rushes in from Zoku's blind spot.
*Swish swish*
All of the sudden,blue aura blades flew towards Kuki at high speed,seemingly spawning from Zoku's back.Kuki quickly dodges two of them and then blocks a third as a deep voice calls out to him.
"I won't let you sneak attack my little brother!"With a deep and resolute voice,Kuzo,who is on Zoku's back, said to Kuki.
