Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Escape Plan

Zreiouys knew he couldn't hide his feelings from his uncle. Graiouys could read his mind and his memories, and he could tell when he was lying. He also knew that his uncle wouldn't approve of his wishes. Graiouys thought that the lower dimensions were inferior and dangerous, and that the old gods had no business meddling with them. He thought that Zreiouys should be happy and proud to be an old god, and that he should focus on honing his powers and abilities.

But Zreiouys wasn't happy or proud. He was restless and unhappy. He felt like he didn't belong to his race, to his uncle, to his dimension. He felt like he was missing something, something that he could only find in the lower dimensions. He had seen glimpses of them in his dreams and nightmares, and he had been intrigued by them. He had seen worlds of beauty and wonder, of horror and chaos, of life and death. He had seen beings of all shapes and sizes, of all colors and sounds, of all emotions and thoughts. He had seen humans, the most fascinating of them all.

He wanted to see more. He wanted to see them in person, not in dreams. He wanted to talk to them, to touch them, to feel them. He wanted to be one of them.

He had a plan. A plan to escape from his uncle, from his dimension, from his destiny. A plan that was risky and reckless, but also exciting and liberating. A plan that involved using his powers in a way that no old god had ever done before.

He waited for the right moment. He waited until his uncle was distracted by his own memories, by his own stories, by his own ego. He waited until he saw an opening in the fabric of reality, a crack that led to the lower dimensions. He waited until he felt a surge of courage and curiosity in his heart.

Then he acted.

He stood up from his seat and ran towards the fountain. He jumped into the water and dove deep into its depths. He reached out with his mind and found the crack. He pushed through it with his will and entered the lower dimensions.

He left behind a note in his uncle's mind:

"I'm sorry, uncle. I have to do this. I have to find out who I am and what I want. I have to live my own life. Don't try to find me or stop me. I love you, but I can't stay with you anymore."

He hoped that his uncle would understand. He hoped that his uncle would forgive him.

He hoped that he would find what he was looking for.
