When they pass through the entrance, Anik immediately pulls the pin off one grenade while holding its lever tightly.

Anik said and the grenade disappeared from his and appeared in the inventory.

First, he went 15 meters away from the entrance. Next, he did what he was best at.

Anik started summoning multiple grenades and throwing them at the entrance.

The tunnel entrance started to cave in. And the tunnel finally closed off.
His team, the second recon team and General Liam's team looked back to see a huge explosion which closed the tunnel but couldn't distinguish if the explosion was due to four to five grenades or more.
At first, they were relieved, but after thinking about Anik they became dejected.
They have been saved but the problem wasn't solved for Anik yet.
The horde of zombies is just 50 meters away from Anik, so he immediately started running towards the forest which
was on the right side of the tunnel.
*Summon*summon*summon*…
While running opposite the zombies, he started summoning grenades in both hands and instantly dropping them, leaving behind the grenades where the zombies would run over towards him.
*Boom*boom*boom*boom*boom*boom* *boom*boom*boom*boom*boom*boom*
After six seconds, the grenades started to explode underneath zombies and as Anik ran, many zombies started to explode one by one.
After running for one hour at a steady pace. Almost all the zombies were killed.
'Summon'
*Bang*bang*bang*bang*bang*...
For the few stragglers, he summoned a Glock 19 to finish them and noise wouldn't attract new zombies because they were in the forest far from the city area.
After finishing off the stragglers, he stealthily walks towards the mall while killing some zombies on the way to the mall. They were in small numbers, so it was easy for him to kill them.
Almost all the zombies in his area were killed in the grenades' explosion, so Anik doesn't have to worry about making noise and bringing new zombies to him. So slowly walk towards the mall.

GENERAL LIAM OFFICE
"What do you mean, you leave him behind?"
Sophia said to General Liam and Luna angrily.
"He didn't listen to us and General Liam said to me that he will stay alive until we come to rescue him. So come down, I am angry too."
Luna said to Sophia.
"When are you going to rescue him then?"
Sophia said to Luna.
"Tomorrow morning we will go towards the mall to search for him."
Luna said with determination towards Sophia.
"General Liam, I will go now to prepare for tomorrow's rescue mission."
Luna said General Liam and left the office.
Sophia was sitting in a chair, angrily and worried.
"Sophia, why are you so worried about him?"
General Liam asked with curiosity.
"I don't know, just a week ago I saw him and I feel like I understand his hidden pain, just like a person I know who doesn't want to grieve and move on. And just like that, we became friends."
Sophia said to General Liam while looking at him and her mother's photo on General Liam's table.
"*Cough*cough*Don't worry too much, we will surely rescue him tomorrow. You can go now."
General Liam said to Sophia.
After Sophia left the office, Luna came back to the office to discuss the plan.
"Luan what is your plan?"
General Liam asked Luna.
"Sir, we have to go the long way because Anik blocked the tunnel. So, my team and your team will go, too many people will only be a hindrance."
Luna said to General Liam.
"Um, ok we will stealthily rescue Anik without altering all the zombies in the area."
General Liam said to Luna.
"Tell the plan to your team and call my team to my office."
General Liam said to Luna.
"Yes sir"
Luna said and got out of the office.
Luna went to her team room to discuss their plan.
"Boys we're going on a rescue mission tomorrow."
Luna said to all of them.
"What is the plan then?"
Ace asked Luna.
"We and the general Liam team will go stealthily towards the mall area from the logway rescue Anik and immediately get out of the place."
Luna said to Ace and others.
"Do you think he is still–"
Jonathan was trying to say something but immediately stopped after staring at all of them.
"Sleep tight today tomorrow is gonna be a long day."
Luna said and left the room.

OUTSIDE THE MALL/6:23 PM
"Shit!! It's too cold outside because of my wet clothes and this windy weather. I have to go inside to the mall to get some dry and warm clothes."
Anik said while looking at the zombies around the mall.
He didn't want to kill the zombies because they can be a good deterrent to humans, which is good for him.
'Summon'
First, he summoned a grenade and threw it as far as he could.
*Boom*
The grenade exploded, and nearby zombies were running towards it.
Anik saw a chance and immediately went inside the mall locked the door and only barricaded the door with a metal table he found.
After that, he went to the clothing section, and first, he got naked and tried wearing all newish dry, clean and warm clothes.
Then he went to the bedwear section to get a bed mattress and blanket. Next, he carries them to the stairs area from where you go to the roof.
First, he locks the door going to the stairs and the roof too and falls down the bed mattress and rests for a bit.
COUPLE MINUTES LATER
*Summon*summon*
He summoned cooked canned food and water to eat. After eating the food and drinking water, he went to sleep without any care.
