"Not good!"

The Shura and his companions, seeing this, immediately rushed forward with various strange shells, intending to subdue it.

Abel, however, did not move an inch, instead, an incredibly formidable aura burst forth from him!

Conqueror's Haki!

As the aura of invincibility, unparalleled under the heavens, swept around him, the first four Sky Island residents it hit lost consciousness instantly, eyes rolling back as they collapsed to the ground.

Enel also suffered greatly, as if someone had struck him hard on the head with a hammer, causing his vision to darken in an instant.

However, he managed to keep his wits about him, relying on his incredible willpower and his ability known as 'Observation Haki' to avoid losing his fighting spirit.

Nevertheless, his forehead was covered with cold sweat, and his face showed an extremely shocked expression!

"What kind of power is this? With just a terrifying aura, I nearly passed out?!"

Enel found it hard to believe.

It was a harsh blow to his increasingly inflated ego!

Abel, on the other hand, was not dissatisfied with the outcome. After all, his Conqueror's Haki had only recently awakened, and he hadn't held the title "King of Curses" for very long, with only an additional 21 points of aura gained for now.

Defeating a single pirate underling only increases the aura by 0.01 points, and it can't be farmed repeatedly.

The bulk of these 20 points came from Catarina Devon's contribution.

Clearly, this mechanic encourages tackling more formidable enemies rather than constantly overpowering weaker ones.

Upon reflection, it makes sense; constantly overpowering the weak would only make you weaker.

Only by challenging strong opponents and emerging victorious can one break through their own limits.

Therefore, the method of increasing one's aura is quite reasonable and not subject to dispute.

"Gustavus Abel, remember this name."

"Today I will crush you completely, then grant you the status as a member of my future crew."

It was hard to defeat Enel, even harder to subjugate him!

But Abel had the "Contract of Domination" at his disposal, so he wasn't worried about this issue.

As expected, upon hearing these words, Enel became instantly furious.

"I am the true and only god of this Sky Island! You'll never make me submit to anyone!"

"Good, since obtaining the powers of a god, I have never gone all out. Today, I shall show you, a mere mortal, what it looks like when a god gets angry!"

After a series of melodramatic statements, Enel aimed his right hand at Abel.

Lightning!

In the next instant, a thick bolt of lightning struck out.

Almost instantly engulfing Abel's form.

"Yahaha, that's all there is to it. I almost got scared by you just now; you're quite the cunning East Blue native."

A successful strike led Enel to let out a hearty laugh.

Before such 'divine power,' any mortal would be overwhelmed.

But he celebrated too early.

"Such power and speed of attack, truly worthy of being called 'invincible' among the Logia-type Devil Fruits."

Abel, enveloped in Armament Haki, took a deep breath and said with genuine admiration.

"This is impossible! No one can be unscathed under the power of a god!" Enel looked astonished and rather embarrassed.

"Stop with 'the power of a god' this and that, you're merely a lucky one who ate a Logia-type Devil Fruit. Your ability to unleash the power of lightning comes solely from the Rumble-Rumble Fruit."

"If being at this level is considered godlike, then the Grand Line is full of gods walking everywhere, gods are less than dogs!"

Abel bluntly exposed the self-delusion of his opponent, causing Enel to become infuriated with embarrassment.

"I don't believe it, all of this is just lies from a cunning person of the Grand Line!"

"Receive the divine punishment from the god, you blasphemer!"

Enel raised his right hand high, and a bolt of lightning shot up into the sky. It was as if divine punishment had truly descended—a pillar of lightning, as thick as a bucket, struck Abel squarely!

This time he must be dead!

For some reason, Enel felt somewhat nervous and even swallowed hard.

However, when the smoke cleared, the figure inside was still standing unwaveringly.

The figure, however, had changed significantly.

"A demon?!"

Enel blurted out in shock, then showed a realization, "Of course, you're the enemy of god, a demon from the abyss! It's no wonder you could withstand the divine punishment!"

Abel, who had entered his 'ghost form' and had tripled his defense, almost rolled his eyes in exasperation.

How could this guy still act like he's in the throes of adolescent delusions despite being in his twenties?

But he had to admit, the power of the Goro Goro no Mi was extraordinary.

He had just endured the divine punishment by relying on the triple defense of his ghost form and Armament Haki without getting hurt.

If the enemy had an even stronger move, he couldn't keep on acting cool without moving; he would have to change tactics.

So, he moved his limbs around and spoke at just the right moment: "You just hit me twice with your thunderbolts. I'm a fair man, so I'll only hit you twice with my fists—just don't die on me."

"Yahaha! Come at me, you blasphemous demon. The power of god is beyond your imagination!"

Abel's lips curled into a slight smile, his eyes full of affection.

Such a naïve child, clearly untouched by the harshness of society.

I'll make sure to teach him a lesson!

With a loud boom!

Abel, with his terrifying explosive power, shattered the ground beneath him and rocketed towards Enel like a cannonball.

Enel seemed very confident, not even taking a defensive stance, just standing there with his arms crossed, a look of contempt on his face.

He definitely mastered the art of looking arrogant.

Unfortunately, the more he acted cool now, the more miserable he would be shortly.

Boom!!!

Abel's pitch-black fist harshly collided with Enel's left cheek in an intimate encounter.

In high-definition slow motion, one could clearly see Enel's left cheek deform from the impact, several teeth flying out before he even hit the ground, already half-unconscious.

"One punch."

Abel blew on his fist, emotionless, and spoke slowly.

When Enel regained consciousness and struggled to rise from the ground, his entire left cheek was swollen like a pig's head, his mouth full of blood.

Then he mumbled something agitatedly, roughly meaning, "How could you possibly hit me?"

Enel couldn't understand; clearly, he had already become elemental. Why could the opponent still hit his physical form?

If he had known this would be the outcome, he wouldn't have stood there waiting to be hit like an idiot at the beginning.

Sure enough, this person from the Grand Line was too cunning and deceitful!

Abel shook his head helplessly, "Not even knowing about Armament Haki, am I bullying you too much?"
