Chapter 7: Chapter 7: First Shinjutsu completed
A few days had quickly passed, and Yukari had fully mastered the Rasengan but realized she could add an elemental nature to it. She inquired from her mother about this idea, and Kaguya replied, "No need to rush, princess. We still need to engage in combat and apply what we learn first." She spotted her daughter nodding in agreement and starting to put what she had learned from Rasengan in the Eighty Vaccume Gods Attack into practice.
Moving away from her mother, who went to the God Tree, as she worked on ways to make the white zetsu, the name we gave to these mindless puppets, stronger. Applying the rasengan principle, she formed claws on the tips of her fingers, which was a lot easier than using her entire hand to accomplish the same thing. Yukari felt comfortable using the chakra-shaped claws after witnessing her technique. It had the same level of devastation as the rasengan, where with each swipe she used to practice cutting the rock cleanly.
She made an attempt to make the chakra gauntlet after numerous attempts to perfect the claw-shaped chakra. With all of her knowledge of manipulating chakra shapes, Yukari floated into the air and finally created a stunning purple chakra gauntlet that encircled both of her hands. She was in awe of her victory as she examined each hand.
By the God Tree, Kaguya observed her work satisfaction as she stood in the depths of a cavern where only a blank white zetsu could be seen. These creatures are far too frail, Kaguya thought. She started to consider ways to strengthen them and then remembered that her daughter had compressed her chakra. She then thought, "Perhaps I could compress these white zetsu together, their strength will most likely merge and increase." As her thought process was on the right track, she decided to visit her daughter and share the discovery.
From a distance, Kaguya was incredibly pleased to see that her daughter had made a chakra gauntlet. Even though Yukari, who was weaker than her mother, began punching the air, there was still massive wreckage around her surroundings. Suddenly, she was encircled by two arms and given a kiss on the cheek. She moved closer to her mother and accepted her compliment as she turned to face her. "I'm so proud of you for finishing it by yourself," her mother said in a hushed voice.
Yukari smiled and hugged her mother tightly. She knew that her mother's approval meant everything to her. After a few moments, Kaguya pulled away and looked at her daughter with a serious expression. "But there's something I need to tell you," she said.
"I've discovered a way to merge the white zetsu and increase their strength even more." Yukari's eyes widened in surprise. She had never thought of such a thing before. "How does it work?" she asked eagerly. Kaguya explained the process to her daughter, and Yukari had already listened intently. She was thrilled that her creation of the rasengan served as an inspiration for her mother.
After enjoying a mother-daughter moment, Kaguya said, "It's time to teach you how to fight properly. The gauntlet can be used for both attack and defense, and I know you'll find more uses after making chakra claws that are extremely lethal." Yukari had a general idea of the possibilities maybe a giant made of chakra.
She felt a surge of excitement as she prepared to learn how to use the chakra claws and gauntlet for both offense and defense. She was eager to explore the possibilities of her new abilities and was grateful for the inspiration her creation had given her mother. With her lovely mother's guidance, she was ready to take her fighting skills to the next level.
Kaguya smiled at her daughter's enthusiasm and began to demonstrate the proper techniques for using the gauntlet and her chakra claws. Yukari watched closely, taking in every detail and asking questions when she needed clarification. As they practiced together, Kaguya could see the determination in her daughter's eyes and knew that she had made the right decision in passing down her knowledge and skills. Yukari would definitely be prepared for the trip, as she would develop into a fierce opponent for her enemies and clansmen with time and practice.
Yukari started to sweat heavily because she knew it would be difficult to close the distance between her and her mother. She knew that fighting her mother was difficult, but she also realized that she had no instincts. When the mother and daughter pair collided, whether on the ground or in the air, a shockwave was created as each Yukari punched her mother without hesitation while her mother calmly dodged even without using their space-time powers.
Kaguya was impressed with Yukari's persistence and saw potential in her daughter's abilities. She decided to teach her a few tricks that would help her close the gap and anticipate her opponent's moves. With each passing day, she felt herself getting stronger and more confident in her abilities. Her mother began allowing her to employ her space-time jutsu so she could incorporate it into her fighting technique.
After days of nonstop sparring with her mother or puppets, she finally understood the Eight Gods Vaccum attack. She then advanced, by spreading her chakra to the surrounding area and manifesting a barrage of gauntlets around her. She really enjoyed this technique because she could simply open a portal to any surrounding area, giving the environment the advantage, whether it be in the air or on the ground, without having to be up close to her opponent.
