Chapter 23: TEAM GATHERING
Monk had made it to the base and as he entered he saw no one inside. "I thought speedy would be left here and where is professor Winsel?" He said out loud. As soon as he said that the metalic door opened and in walked speedy with the girls following a distance behind him. They still couldn't get the image of speedy killing someone infront of their eyes out of their heads. "Hey speedy have you seen professor Winsel. I need to report something." Monk said. "No I haven't seen him. I went out to do something and when I returned he wasn't here." Speedy replied. "Oh ok. Why are you with the girls though aren't they supposed to be exploring."
"The girls ran into some trouble and I went to help also I should be asking you the same thing. Why are you here?"
"I also ran into some trouble and I would love it if you don't ask what kind of trouble."
"Where is John?" Mia asked.
"I actually don't know. We both ran into the same trouble and I would be lying if I said he was fine" Monk said.
The group decided to go to the control room to check the trackers to find John. When they checked the computer they saw that John's tracking pin was missing and professor Winsel's was not too far from the base and was moving slowly towards the base. "Why is he moving so slowly?" Mia asked. "Who knows maybe he went for a walk." Speedy replied. "Should one of us go and tell him what is going on?" Cora asked. "Yeah we should." Mia said. "I'll go tell him." Speedy said as he dashed out of the base as fast as lightning in the direction of professor Winsel. "Ok he's gone. I noticed you have been keeping your distance from him and Cora has been sending subtle signals of help. What is going on?" Monk asked. "Well, it's a long but short story. I'll simplify it as much as possible." Mia said before taking a deep breath. "We were in trouble cuz we went into an uncharted cave and speedy came to try and save us and he killed a person in front of us and now am too scared to be near him can you please help us." Cora explained very fast before Mai could even say anything. "Wow, that's really something but there's nothing I can do. If the person is dead he's dead and from what I can see he's not trying to hurt you but if anything happens you can come to me and I'll help." Monk said. "Thank you" Mia said. "Thank you very Monk" Cora said as she rushed over and gave Monk a hug.
Professor Winsel had been walking for a while now in the direction of the base. He could have ran to the base at any time but decided not to and instead was conversing with a boy who he had saved from the mysterious being they had been fighting. The boy came from a race of aliens called the Lunarians. They are a rare race that excells in the illusionary element of imagination. Professor Winsel had gathered enough information to know that the boy is a direct decendant of the ruler of one of the clans of the race. The boy had long orange hair that pointed upwards. He was tall muscular and had a tint of orange color in his pupils that gave him a piercing gaze. The boy had been captured when the being and three others raided his home planet. John was draped over professor Winsel's back and they were walking back to base. Just then what sounded like a lightning bolt was heading in their direction at the speed of what it sounded like. Speedy dashed out of the forest and stopped directly in front of them. "Professor Winsel we have a problem to discuss back at the- who is that?" "My friend over here from today on is to be addressed as a fellow teammate. What is the problem" Professor Winsel said. "We can't find John" Speedy said. "He's right here" professor Winsel turned so speedy could see John on his back. I'll explain later. Right now let's head back to base." Professor Winsel said as he started walking with the boys following behind him.

In a different part of the Galaxy on a planet very far from Earth a boy lays on a bed. The boy looks almost exactly like John except he has black hair instead of John's signature red hair. Tonight something weird was happening. The boy was surrounded by a silver energy that was flowing from literally every where into his chest and as this continued his hair was slowly turning silver. After whatever was happening to him was over he woke up huffing and panting as if he just experienced a nightmare. "Something happened to John. I think it's time I paid Earth a visit. I haven't been there in a while. I hope master will approve of this. Don't worry John. Your brother is coming back home. He might not remember me so I will have to act as a late entry student." The boy then got up from his bed as he walked out of his room into the dark world outside as he headed into another building not that far from the house. As he walked he sent a telepathic message to an unseen being. 'Master am going to Earth. I think John is in deep trouble.' He received a reply almost immediately. 'I felt the changes too. Do what you must child.' The unseen being replied as the boy walked into the building closing the door behind him.
