Chapter 40: CH 40: Stupidity

The damn intro... It's fucking lit! It's absolutely freaking amazing! I've downloaded it and have been listening to it for hours now! To be honest, Douluo Dalu has some amazing songs. That Break the Cocoon is also amazing! I don't know and can't find the name of the intro for Douluo Dalu 2 though. Tell me if you do>

"Alright, class, please quiet down so we can start the class." The black haired teacher with glasses said as she put her books on the desk and started the class :"Today's lesson will be about-"
But as she was talking, the door of the classroom opened and a slightly nervous girl peeked in :"Um, e-excuse me, miss. There's someone who says he wants to meet Qian Renxue and Hu Liena..."
As she finished speaking, some had faces of ridicule, some had faces of interest, and some looked like they were done with the world. It wasn't the first time something like this had happened. A guy trying to speak to one of them and confess his feelings to them. But someone seeking out both of them was what pulled the attention of a few students.
However, the person in question wasn't what any of them expected. Not even Qian Renxue and Hu Liena. The door was suddenly completely slid open as none other than Ah Li appeared. Looking around the room with a carefree face, he smiled when he saw his two senior sisters. With a bright and adorable smile that caused the heart of every girl in the class, including the teacher, to skip a beat, he waved at the two blondes he was living with :"Hey, sister Xue, sister Nana!"
"Xiao Li?! What are you doing here?" Qian Renxue looked confused, but still smiled at his adorable smile as he shrugged :"I was bored, so master suggested for me to come and give sister Nana some good news."
"Qian Renxue, Hu Liena, this boy is...?" The teacher trailed off as she looked at them with unsureness, part of her already guessing his identity based on how he addressed the two beauties, but still not willing to make assumptions.
"Ah, teacher, this is Ah Li. My mother's second disciple." Qian Renxue introduced, and Hu Liena smiled smugly while folding her arms :"And also my junior brother." With a look of realization, the teacher nodded before looking at Ah Li who smiled politely and sweetly, causing her heart to skip a beat at his adorableness :"Hello, miss. Nice to meet you, I'm Ah Li."
"O-oh. Ahem ahem, nice to meet you too, Xiao Li." Noticing the other girls in the class narrowing their eyes at her face and slightly weird smile, she quickly cleared her throat before regaining her professionalism :"Are these news very important? If not, can it wait until after the class is over? It's not good to take the time of class like this. In fact, since you're already here, why don't you just sit with your senior sisters and tell Hu Liena the good news later?"
"Hmm... Alright, I'll do that!" He nodded with an "innocent" smile, clearly having fun with how all the older girls looked at him with heart eyes and enjoying the jealous and envious gazes of all the guys except Xie Yue were throwing at him.
"A-alright then, go ahead and take a seat." The teacher cleared her throat again, barely holding back her motherly and "onee-san" instincts as he walked towards the stairs leading up to where Qian Renxue, Hu Liena, Xie Yue and Yan were sitting. The girl that had brought him quickly left so as to not have the anger of the two blondes caused by jealousy aimed at her.
As he walked up the university styled stairs while the jealous and fond gazes were still on him, he finally reached the desk which the group of four were sitting behind. From Ah Li's left to the right, it was Qian Renxue, Hu Liena, Xie Yue and Yan. But just as he smiled politely at the boys and got behind the desk to walk in front of them, he saw Yan suddenly and with quick speed put his leg in front of where he was walking.
With a cold glint passing through his eyes, Ah Li kept his smile on as he brought his foot forward, seeming to not have noticed Yan's foot. But just as the red haired young man smirked, Ah Li immediately raised his foot and stomped on his foot without a hint of mercy and without letting anybody know.
The only thing the others noticed was Yan's body suddenly jolting as his face lost all colors. Ultimate Strength was a real bitch. And this poor asshole had the pleasure of knowing just how bad it would feel to get his foot crushed with the same Ultimate Strength. Still, not seeing it being worth the trouble, Ah Li still held back to not actually crush or break his foot.
But he was still pretty enough to step on his other foot too when he took the next step.
Poor bastard was fighting back tears as Ah Li finally passed him. The little monster only held back just enough to not break his feet. And since the durability of a Soul Master's body, one in Lv 30 Soul Elder specifically, was not something to scoff at, it could only be imagined just how hard Ah Li stepped on his feet. It probably felt like a train ran over his feet.
Fortunately for him though, instead of embarrassing him in front of his classmates and friends, Ah Li simply smiled nonchalantly at both him and Xie Yue who smiled back politely too. Not only was he just a kid, the boy was also the junior brother of his little sister. Why would he try to embarrass him?
"Come on, sit here." Qian Renxue smiled fondly at him, just adding fuel to the jealousy of the guys as she slid a little away and cleared some space between her and Hu Liena for Ah Li to sit. All while poor Yan was trying to distract himself from the pain and doing his hardest to hold back the tears that were threatening to roll down his eyes.
"Hello." He smiled playfully at the two gorgeous girls as he sat down between them. With a giggle Qian Renxue and Hu Liena also greeted playfully :"Hi~." But as the class began, Qian Renxue put on her older sister's serious face :"Alright, you two, let's now focus on the class. You too, Xiao Li. You can learn some things too while you're here."
Deciding on not being an asshole to someone who was just trying to do her job, Ah Li nodded and stayed quiet. Even if he didn't focus on the class, he could at least not disturb it. There really wasn't much to be taught in the class though. Like, literally, what was the teacher supposed to teach?
The most advanced form of mathematics in this world was multiplication and division. Chemistry was barely there, and all of it was mostly about the Soul Beast and all. Geography, everybody knew it with how there were only two empires and a handful of kingdoms. Other lessons either weren't there, or there really wasn't much about them.
Even in the Martial Soul Hall Academy, the classes mostly focused on different types and breeds of Soul Beasts. After all, this was the class with only geniuses in it. And since knowledge was power, a lot of Soul Beasts would be mentioned and explained. which was true since the knowledge taught here wasn't useless bullshit and actual stuff that could save someone's life or help them in choosing the right Soul Beasts.
That was the main focus of classes along with battle tactics and different roles of Soul Master teams. In this class, whatever that was taught, was solely about actually important stuff and how to grow stronger the right way.
Heck, classes weren't even the main point of the academy. The main point was fighting. What was a Soul Master supposed to do, sit behind a table and fill in paperwork? Only Soul Masters with that kind of job would be required to do that. Like Bibi Dong and Hu Liena's parents. Otherwise, Soul Masters would mostly need to fight. And because of that, knowing how to fight and use your own Martial Soul, Soul Skills and advantages with the most efficiency was the major thing in the academy.
That didn't mean learning about all the things stated wasn't important though. So the current class was about learning and not fighting. They had already covered that a little while ago. The class didn't take that long though. But that wasn't the same for Ah Li. Because of having copied Bibi Dong, Yue Guan and Gui Mei's knowledge about Soul Beasts, he basically knew even more than the teacher.
So all he could do was sit still and wait for the class to end. To try to distract and occupy himself with something to not get bored, he would sometimes just play with his Ultimate Fire. This world really didn't present any entertainment. And since he was a person from Earth, he would get bored out of his mind a lot. And by lot, as in a LOT.
The only thing that would help him out of the damn boredom was spending time with Bibi Dong and his senior sisters. But when Bibi Dong was in the Supreme Pontiff Palace and the girls were in school, there was nothing he could do except cultivate. But when he wasn't cultivating, he would just play around with his Ultimate Fire.
It was pretty good at distracting him. So good in fact that even Hu Liena was a little distracted. Looking at how he would shape different objects and sometimes try to make simple animal shapes, it was pretty hard to stay focused on the boring lesson. Not only was it a fun thing to do, it would also help him get even better at controlling his Ultimate Fire.
"Alright, class, that's all for today. I hope you have a nice day. And Xiao Li, I hope you had fun." The teacher collected her stuff, and after smiling sweetly at the smiling Ah Li, walked out of the class.
"Mgghh! Sigh, it's finally finished." Hu Liena groaned as she stretched, causing the eyes of some boys to focus on two pairs of beautiful jigglers before all of them turned to look away when Xie Yue stared at them menacingly.
"Mhm, yeah, it is." Qian Renxue nodded calmly as she pushed a strand of blonde hair behind her ear and got up:"Alright, let's go out now. Xiao Li, didn't you say you had some good news? We'll talk after we're out of the classroom."
After receiving nods from Ah Li, Hu Liena and Xie Yue, they all got up and we're about to leave. But just as everybody in the classroom got up, Yan also got up with anger hidden behind his red eyes :"Hey, Ah Li."
Turning to look at him with a curious face, he saw Yan smile at him. But it didn't need a genius or a specialist to discover the cruel glint behind his eyes :"You know, sister Renxue and sister Nana have said a lot about your talent and how amazing you are."
Seeing how he obviously didn't have any good intentions, Qian Renxue's expression turned cold :"Yeah, we have. But about it? What are you getting at, Yan?" But despite being scared of her for all the right reasons, Yan just kept his smile :"I was wondering, since Ah Li here is such a genius, he wouldn't mind having a small spar with me, right? After all, I'm curious about just what kind of talent he has to be her holiness' disciple."
Qian Renxue's expression turned even colder. Yan had chosen his words carefully. Ah Li was a kid, so he obviously could just refuse and nobody would bat an eye since he was just a kid. But he had brought Bibi Dong into the conversation. Refusing or pulling back now, would only give some dumbasses the chance to not ridicule just him, but also his master behind their back. So it was either still refuse but let some assholes run their mouth, or let Ah Li fight him.
And well, wasn't it obvious which option Ah Li himself would take?
"Sure, why not?" Ah Li smiled sweetly, before his smile turned into one of craziness as one of his eyes stayed the same round size and his eyelid came down to cover half it while the other one dilated significantly as his eyelid completely uncovered that eye :"I wonder just how many bones of brother Yan I can break before I finish the fight."
