As Zella walks through the hallway, a voice calls for her. "Zella, wait!" Wyatt catches up with her while trying to catch his breath. "Oh, hey, Wyatt." She says calmly, with a very faint blush on her face. Despite only knowing him for 40 minutes, she felt comfortable and connected with him. She hoped he hadn't noticed her blushing. "What class do you have next?" She asks, hoping to have the same classes. "Elixirs." He replies with a chuckle. "I was meaning to ask about that. What's up with some of these classes? I mean, Elixirs, Battling, Spells? What is this? Some sort of magic school?" She asks in confusion. "Hey, Electrode." A student passing by calls out. "Hey," Wyatt calls back. "Yeah, it is." Zella looks at him dumbfounded. "Did she just call you Electrode?" She asks. He chuckles again. "She did. And before you ask, this is why." He takes his hands out of his pockets and turns his palms upwards. Then, lightning shoots up from his fingers into the air. "Mr. Gifford, care to explain what you were doing?" Just then, a stern, angry voice calls out from behind the two and they both turn pale. They turn around and they are greeted by a man with the angriest expression she had ever seen. "Can you please repeat rule one in the student handbook?" The teacher commands. Wyatt sighs and complies. "No use of magic indoors, as it is a safety hazard and could result in injury and/or death." "That is correct. This is your final warning before you have to spend another whole weekend in my office." Throughout this whole incident, Zella's mind was racing. After all, this was her first day at this school and she was already in trouble. Or so she thought. Before she could react, they were back to walking to their next class. Yet again, she was late.
