Chapter 12: Chapter 12 - The rats and the wolves.
Jackson followed Henry out of his work station. Jackson knew that Henry would only bother him if something big happened and it needed his attention.
Arriving at the location Henry led him into, He saw Bell and Bunker and 50 ants lined up like well disciplined soldiers.
"What is it? Enemy attack?" Jackson calmly asked around.
"Yes master I have scanned that the previously discovered group of rats have come running towards this direction. Not only that I scanned the incoming danger Cuprite sense them coming too" Bell reported to Jackson about the incoming attack from the group of rats
Hearing her report Jackson asked. "How many? How much time till I get here?" Jackson gathered all the information he required to create a battle plan. Bunker could kill them when they arrive but he does not want to damage his base just yet. The building was only on its foundation stage and it would not withstand the pressure of Bunkers power.
"167 life force detected including 1 life force that is far stronger than the rest. It must be their king or queen. Estimated time 1 hour and 20 minutes" Bell replied and showed Jackson a clock than is continuously counting down.
"Okay good. We need to move now and attack them first. Bell Continues to hover up the base and active full power scanning. Guard the base, while Henry stays here too. If we are attacked Bell would require assistance in battling the enemy" Jackson began to give his orders to everyone present.
"Young master, We can help. all of us sisters are very strong and stronger when working together" Hearing Faith Jackson wanted to stop them but he also needed to see what they could do. So after consideration he let them come with him on a condition to only kill the beast behind his back and the girls agreed.
"Okay then Let's move, Bunker active Level 3 protection mode" Jackson turned to Bunker and ordered him to activated armor suit.
"Receive! activating level 3 protection mode. Armored suit" Bunker transform and Jackson entered leaving the girls shocked and awe by what they just saw. Knowing this was not the time for question the team of 1 metal giant and 6 girls began to move towards the incoming enemy.
30 minutes later the team saw the frenzied rats running towards them. Jackson did not hesitate to Attack once he was in range. "Bunker Active level 2 Artillery mode"
"Receive! activating level 2 Artillery mode." Bunker fixed himself into the solid ground and 2 cannons assembled on his back while Bunkers arm turned into Gatling cannons. With the transformation finished Jackson Fired at the rats 200 meters ahead.
Boom! Boom!
Gunfire and explosions can be heard from a distance. The girls were all rooted to the ground behind Jackson. They feared Jackson even more than before, The have never seen a metal giant capable of firing and killing its enemies at the range where they were all helpless against.
After a while Jackson stopped shooting and changed back to protection mode again. He only killed 80% of the enemy. Artillery mode is useless in close range so he switches back, Jackson can still see many life forms rushing towards him and this includes the king or queen of rats.
Rah!!! A massive 5 meter rat came into view of Jackson and the others. When Faith saw this she panicked and yelled at Jackson. "Oh no Young master! Its level 5 mutated Queen rock eater rat"
Hearing her, Jackson became even more serious. He doesn't know how strong a level 5 creature was in this world compared to Bunker but it was better to be prepared.
"Young master Its defenses are topnotch, be careful!" Faith warned Jackson.
Hearing what Faith just said Jackson got excited. "Heh, Defense? Bunker's armor is the peak of earth technology lets see who's defenses are stronger" Jackson thought.
"Got it, Take care of the small ones and I will take care of this queen rat" Jackson ordered the girls.
"Yes, Young master" all the girls replied at the same time and rushed up to the small rats that were running at them.
The girls Battle began when Jackson saw the girls cutting rats like vegetables. It was very clean and very fast. Jackson could not help but admire the power of spirit energy and cant wait to try it out for himself.
Shaking his head Jackson focuses on the queen rat facing him. She stood up and roared at Jackson. Then the queen rat summoned a rock barrier covering her body with rocks. Seeing that Jackson moved and punched out at the queen rat.
The queen rat did not sit idle by either and it too clawed at Jackson. Both claw and punch clashed, sending out the force that shook the ground and surrounding trees. But both were unharmed seeing that Jackson raised another and attacked again and again. The queen rat did not let Jackson do what he wanted and she attacked Jackson back.
cling! clang! Tik! Tok!
The sounds of metal being hit and solid rock being struck sounded. Jackson began to think that both defenses were evenly matched but not long after the brawl Jackson saw the queen rat's rock barrier falling apart.
This put a smile on Jackson face. "So Bunker defenses is better after all hehe." He could but be proud of his creations and chuckled at the queen rat defeat.
Next thing one of Jackson punch got through and hit the queen rat through her rock barrier, piecing her flesh. The queen rat roared in pain and jump away from Jackson but will Jackson let her get away don't be stupid.
Following her Jackson delivered another punch towards the queen rat face sending her flying a few meters back and hitting a tree. The queen rat was in a state of distortion and struggle to stand up. Like a drunken lady the queen rat no longer can balance herself, Jackson not being a gentleman continued to beat the queen rat. queen rat only lasted a few more hits before dying under Jacksons feet.
Seeing the queen rat defeated the girls cheered loudly and could not help but be amazed by Jackson power. Fusing with that metal giant must be one of Jackson family techniques. The girls speculated Family must have been very strong to have a technique like this.
Hearing the girls cheers and celebration Jackson walked over and joined in. Just when Jackson was about to give an order to return back to base. Bunker reported. "Multiple life signature sighted"
Hearing this Jackson paused and turn towards the girls. "Run now! back to base." Confused the girls stared at Jackson for a moment but did not dare disobey his orders and be gain to rush out of there.
Jackson could see that this new enemy was far stronger than the rats. On Bunkers scanner showed that this beast move very fast and it would only be a moment to reach this place. so he stayed and let the girls go back.
Jackson is confident with Bunkers defenses but not on its ability to defend others. After all Jackson created Bunker to protect him and only him. He was not some super hero from a comic book. the world is a cruel place, Everyone struggles to survive and no one bothers to those who are too weak to even help themselves.
Jackson can only try to keep his talents and creation with him and away from other so that they would not use it for something stupid such as world domination. Life is already a struggle why would Jackson add more into it.
Awo!!!
The thudding sound of the ground came closer and wolves appeared into Jackson view. "These wolves must have been attracted by the blood and sounds"
Seeing the wolves slowing coming towards him Jackson prepared for combat and Activated level 2 artillery mode again. "Come on! Lets see if you guys are stronger than those rats" Taunting them, the wolves growled back as if they challenged Jackson words and Jackson replied by firing at them.
