Chapter 2: Omniscient System
Why am I falling from the sky? I was sure that I was sealed inside the Abyss." Black wondered while continuously falling.
His eyes averted, and he stared beneath him as he noticed the scenery, which was completely engulfed with trees. A vast forest that mostly occupied everything he could see.
[Notice: fifteen thousand feet before crashing to the surface.]
"Huh!? Who's talking?" Black shockingly said, surprised by the sudden appearance of the mystical voice that enshrouded his entire hearing senses.
[Warning: Thirty seconds before the crash]
Oh no!" He mumbled in his head and immediately held his wrist while the other hand was opened. As he slowly got closer to the surface, he began chanting an unrecognizable language, which instantly created a circular subspace wormhole that sucked him in. He fell upwards from the circular subspace wormhole that appeared a meter high from the ground surface.
Due to gravity, he once again fell downward. But the reduction in intensity made him safely land with no explosions occurring.
"Phew." Black wiped off the dust from his black body and noticed that his hands were changing.
"Huh? What's happening!?" He blurted it out, shocked by the sudden removal of his black skin.
[Warning: Black has entered the mortal realm, restricting demi-god features.]
[In order to blend in, reformation of the body structure is needed.]
"Huh? What does that mean?" Black asked.
[Analysis complete: Beginning Transformation]
[Body Structure Target: Human Male]
[Target Age: 20]
Huh? What the heck are humans? I've never heard about it before." Black wondered, confused as to what was happening.
Black was the overseer of the worlds that were filled with horrifying creatures such as demons and monsters. Which he never encountered any species that were called humans.
[Transformation Complete: Human Body Acquired.]
Thus, Black's body cracked, as if his entire body was about to shatter. But after it broke, he witnessed a new kind of body that made him wonder what he looked like.
"What's this? Why is my body different and almost white? Hey voice! Can you answer me?" He asked bluntly, hoping for some answers.
[Notice: I am the Omniscient System; please refrain from calling me 'Voice']
[Answer: You are currently possessing a human body structure based on the mixture I've created to differentiate you from other humans.]
"Can I look at myself?" Black asked, curious to see what he looked like.
[Answer: Yes, you can.]
[Notice: Activating Omniscient Eyes]
[Changing Point of View]
With that, Black's point of view changed. And he was able to witness his current appearance.
"What have you done to me? Why do I look like this? What is this thing!?" Black abruptly complained, unsatisfied, about the human male's appearance.
[Notice: Your appearance is currently the most beautiful thing in this entire world.]
"Huh!?"
Black, who somehow transformed into a human, obtained the most handsome appearance of all the human males that exist in the world.
He had black medium-length hair that shone when beams of sunlight struck it, while his crimson-red eyeballs beautifully merged with his slanted eyes. His sharp nose and fiercely firm eyebrows stood out, along with his perfect jaw, which seemed to be unbendable. His lips were plump, and his muscular body was ripped perfectly, while his skin was firm and white.
[Notice: You are currently the most handsome human male in this world thanks to my profound greatness.]
"Ehh? You call this appearance handsome? Anyway, where am I? I never knew I'd fall into a world like this." Black asked while he observed his surroundings, which were covered in tall trees that were about ten meters tall.
[Answer: You are inside the world that God created within his last few seconds. And yes, your appearance is unique thanks to my greatness.]
"But what happened to our home?" Black asked.
(referring to the place they once lived along with God)
[Answer: The god's space was destroyed after God's disappearance.]
"And? What happened to those traitorous brothers of mine?" Black bluntly asked, slowly becoming enraged just by thinking about them.
[Notice: Locating Demi-Gods]
[Activating Omniscient Eyes]
[Searching for Individuals: White, Brown, Yellow, Red, and Blue]
[Answer: Cannot be found.]
"Eh!? Did they all die?"
[Answer: I cannot guarantee; it is possible that they have been reduced into mortal beings.]
[Their demi-god features have been removed; therefore, my conclusion is that they have been hiding their existence and trying to regain their demi-god abilities.]
"I see. So they're not dead yet...." Black mumbled, enraged after getting reminded of their treacherous doings.
"System, do I still have my demi-god abilities?"
[Scanning....]
[Analysis Complete: 70% of Darkness Ability has been sealed]
[Individual Black: Has been converted into a mortal being]
[Therefore, Black can only use spatial wormholes, dark projectiles, and shadow binding.]
[Status window is being developed.]

[Usable Skills: Spatial Wormhole, Dark Projectiles, Shadow Binding]
"What is this weird holographic square-shaped thing in front of me?" Black asked, pointing towards the status window that was displayed in front of him.
[Answer: That is your status window. It calculates your entire prowess and displays it in a more detailed manner.]
"Then what about this level thingy? And this mana energy?" Black asked, completely confused since it was his first time seeing.
[Notice: Level is what gauges your overall progress. The higher your level, the more you become stronger and unlock your demi-god abilities.]
[The mana energy is what lets you use your abilities and is the gauge for an individual's overall prowess. These are all being compiled into your status window by following the world's rules.]
"Rules? I see. So in this world, levels are what differentiate you from the weak in terms of progression rate, and mana energy is what they use as a fuel for their skills and also the limiter of their entire prowess. Am I right?"
[Answer: You are correct.]
After hearing the system's words, Black felt praiseworthy and started feeling high and mighty. But he then paused and asked, "Wait, so does this mean that everyone in here has a status window like mine?"
[Answer: Yes.]
"So does that mean they also have a system like you?"
[Answer: No]
[Notice: I am the only omniscient system that exists in the entire universe.]
"Oh, is that so...?"
[Answer: Yes, so be grateful to me.]
"Haha..?"
After their conversation ended, Black immediately surveyed his surroundings, but there was nothing he could find that resembled any life form.
Where should I go?" He wondered and aimlessly walked around the vast forest.
[Notice: If you go straight from here, you will encounter a monster den.]
Huh? You can hear my thoughts? And what's with the monster den? Is it a settlement for the monster species? I need to hurry and go there. I was the one who observed their world before." Black stated and hurriedly ran straight, excited about meeting the monsters personally.
[Answer: I can communicate with you through thought. And a monster den is a home for aggressive monsters.]
"Eh? "These aren't the monsters I'd expected." Black mumbled as he stared intently at the giant werewolves that stood around a certain area.
They began sniffing, as if they smelled something nice.
[Warning: The hostility level of the werewolves has increased by 70%]
"What!?" While Black uttered, he noticed the werewolves staring at him intently while their saliva dripped from their sharp teeth. And their eyes were firm, as if they had found their prey.
Without uttering a single sound, they all stared quietly. Waiting for Black to move.
Meanwhile, Black was still confused, What are these creatures?" He mumbled in his head.
[Answer: They are werewolves.]
[Lower forms of intelligent monster beings]
So they won't understand me?"
[Answer: Yes, and talking will not do any good.]
Yeah, I guess so..." He replied while seeing the gazes of the werewolves stuck on him without batting an eye.
