Chapter 16: Exterminating Nuisances

"Stop! He is an Ocean Apostle!" Jhoemar yelled, trying to stop Denzo and his subordinates from engaging Gabimaru, who stood calmly while confronting them.

"Don't worry, master, we will handle these two quickly. Keke!" Denzo uttered, pointing his sword at Gabimaru and Arthur.

I'm tired of these humans not knowing their place. I should just ask them about Blue and deal with them quickly," Gabimaru thought, glancing at Jhoemar, who was on his knees beside him.

"Hey human, do you know where Blu—I mean, the goddess of the ocean resides?" Gabimaru asked, flinging his hand and immediately bounded Denzo and his subordinates' entire bodies.

"Ugh. My body won't move," Denzo mumbled, forcing his body to move. But due to Gabimaru's shadow-binding skill, he can't budge for even an inch.

"Eh? What do you mean, Senior?" Jhoemar asked, clueless as to why an apostle was asking for the goddess's abode.

"Enough!" said Gabimaru, who instantly flung his hand and released several dark projectiles that struck the helpless soldiers on their heads.

Denzo gulped, seeing his subordinates' faces being struck with unknown black projectiles.

The soldiers that got hit immediately died and fell to the ground, while their blood kept flowing and streaming on the ground.

"Kyaaah!" The maids subconsciously yelled after seeing the junior pitbulls die easily.

"I'm asking you, so you better answer me honestly," Gabimaru uttered in a demanding tone, gazing coldly at Jhoemar's wavering eyes.

The maids felt the chilling sensation that surrounded Gabimaru, which made them take a few steps back. Scared upon getting close to Gabimaru and Jhoemar.

Arthur gulped, knowing that Gabimaru's mood had drastically changed. While Diane held his arm tightly and kept on trembling.

"Uh, the goddess Sh-she lives in the Ocean Kingdom!" said Jhoemar, who kept on stuttering.

"Where is it located? Tell me immediately," Gabimaru said with a cold demeanor.

[Notice: A single individual is approaching.]

Another nuisance?" Gabimaru mumbled in his head.

"I don't know! Only apostles are able to enter the Ocean Kingdom!" Jhoemar stated, sincerely saying that he doesn't know.

Do you think he's lying?" Gabimaru asked through thought communication.

Meanwhile, Denzo kept still, unable to move while fidgeting a bit.

"Hey you fucker! Release me at once and fight me like a knight!" Said Denzo, but just as he was about to spout nonsense again, Gabimaru opened a spatial wormhole from him and in front of Denzo and suddenly placed his hand inside. Grabbing Denzo's face and crushing it in an instant.

His headless body fell to the ground, releasing a massive amount of blood that flowed from his neck.

Jhoemar gulped and thought. He's a monster. Now that I can see his ability properly, I'm sure he isn't an apostle. Ocean apostles have water-type abilities. That black portal he makes isn't made with water."

[Answer: Based on his facial movements, there is only a 5% chance that he is lying.]

I see, so we don't need him now. Since he also doesn't know about blue," Gabimaru responded through thought communication. Tired of interacting with humans who he deemed useless from the beginning,

[Notice: A fast-approaching object is nearing your location.]

[If not blocked properly, it will obliterate an individual's entire residence: Jhoemar's.]

Gabimaru immediately turned around and stared at the sky, only to see a water spear, a spear-shaped translucent object that was made with water and covered in dense energy, heading on his way with impressive speed that didn't even cause any sound.

"Everyone, you should return back to the village," Gabimaru uttered, and he immediately cast several spatial wormholes below the maids and Arthur that made them fall and get transported back to the village.

Jhoemar was astonished to see the maids disappearing and was still clueless as to why Gabimaru acted hastily.

Just as the water spear reached Gabimaru's location, Gabimaru immediately opened a spatial wormhole and diverted the water spear's direction, leading it back to the sky.

[Notice: A hundred more water spears are fast approaching your location.]

What!?"

[Would you like to use several spatial wormholes and send it back to its owner?]

[Y/N]

As expected of the omniscient system. You've already found him, huh? Sure, yes. Send it back to him," Gabimaru said through thought communication, giving the system the authority to use his skills.

[Scan complete: opening spatial wormholes.]

The bright blue sky was instantly covered in several spatial wormholes that no one in the kingdom even noticed.

[Water spears have successfully been returned.]

Jhoemar silently observed Gabimaru's gestures, unable to understand the situation. Just as he was about to speak, Gabimaru immediately slit his throat with his bare hands. Killing Jhoemar in an instant without letting him voice his thoughts.

His body instantly fell to the ground, and the floor was completely covered in blood; it was as if all of the corpse's blood had turned into a huge puddle.

Phew! Now everything is settled, and all I have to do is go back. But I've been wondering for some time now. Ever since I killed humans, I've never received any experience points," Gabimaru mumbled in his head, staring at the corpses that were plastered on the ground.

[Notice: You are currently possessing a human's body. Therefore, when your status was developed, you were immediately clarified as a human. Making you unable to gain experience points from your own kind.]

I see. So I'll just have to kill monsters?" Gabimaru asked through thought communication. But before the system could respond, Gabimaru's surroundings instantly turned ice.

Everything that was inside Jhoemar's residence turned into ice, leaving him the only existence that wasn't affected by the sudden freezing of his surroundings.

[Notice: The caster of the water spear has passed through my multi-barrier detection.]

Gabimaru immediately inspected his surroundings, while a man in a blue cloak appeared at the top of Jhoemar's manor.

"Yow," the unknown man uttered, waving his hand at Gabimaru.

[Analyzing Individual...]

"Who is that guy?" Gabimaru muttered while looking at the unknown person.

His blue cloak shone like the sky, while several sparkling objects were intact on its collar. The cloak also had golden linings at the bottom and on its hood.

The man's face wasn't visible, as his hood covered his entire face. Only his silhouette was vividly seen, but despite his mysterious appearance, he had a slender figure that resembled Arthur's body.

[Analysis Complete: Displaying Data]

[Name: Clover Fruder]

[Title: Ocean Apostle]

[Age: 21]

[Level: 98]

[Race: Human - Male]

[Mana Energy: 808/1,122]

[Usable Skills: Water and Ice Magic]

"Clover fruder?" Gabimaru mumbled.

[Notice: He is an Ocean Apostle, suggesting extorting information from the individual.]

"Eh! You know me!?" Clover uttered in surprise after hearing Gabimaru say his name.

"No, I don't know you. But seeing that you know some things that I need to know, I'm sure we'll get along well," said Gabimaru while he immediately cast his shadow binding skill.

Gabimaru's shadow quickly moved and headed to Clover's position, but before it could bind the shadow, Clover immediately jumped forward and pointed his palms at Gabimaru, while several ice spears began forming and flew towards Gabimaru.

The ice spears flew at an extreme speed, but it was still too slow for Gabimaru. He then cast several spatial wormholes and sent the ice spears back to Clover.

Clover, who noticed it late, was surprised to see the spears coming at him from every direction he could possibly take. Clover smirked, knowing it was useless.

Just as the ice spears struck him, they passed through his body like nothing.

"Huh?" Gabimaru mumbled.

"You can't send released attacks back to their owner, dude! It won't work!" Clover stated, informing Gabimaru about magic.

[Notice: The released spells that the casters used cannot hurt or damage the caster.]

I see, so that's how magic works?" Gabimaru asked through thought communication.

[Answer: Yes.]

[In humankind's magic principles.]

[It does not apply to monster, demon, or spirit magic.]

"Hahaha!" Clover chuckled, releasing a sphere condensed in water magic that amplified its destructive power and shot it towards Gabimaru.

Gabimaru, who felt annoyed, used a spatial wormhole and transported his attack to the surrounding area.

A large explosion occurred behind Jhoemar's manor, and somehow it created steam that rose above the sky.

Clover turned around and saw that the house behind Jhoemar's manor had disappeared. Only the land remained; even the grass melted along with it.

"Mother!" A young child screamed, seeing their house obliterated into nothingness.

"Eh! Are you an idiot? How can you transport my attacks to the surrounding houses?" Clover yelled, pointing at Gabimaru, who stood and plucked his nose.

[Notice: Three humans have died from the transported attack. Would you like to transport more?]

[Y/N]

Yes. If he attacks again, transport it to the surrounding areas since it can't damage him if we send it back." Gabimaru responded, ordering the system to continuously send any incoming attacks from clover to be transported to the nearby areas.

"You bastard! Do you have no heart!?" Clover said loudly while he raised his hands above, and several ice spears instantly formed above him. He then flung his hand out and released it, aiming to strike Gabimaru.

But once again, his attacks got transported to the nearby houses, causing loud sounds and slight tremors all over the area.

Several people died without knowing what just happened as the ice spears struck them out of nowhere.

While Clover felt infuriated and released his mana energy, which caused a strong wind pressure around his surroundings.

Air gushed through Gabimaru, which instantly tore off his cloak, showing his beautiful body openly.

"You bastard! Ju-- Before Clover could finish, he saw Gabimaru naked and instantly stumbled out of stupidity.

Clover felt flustered and yelled. "What are you doing!? Wear some clothes, damn it!" he said, trying to avert his eyes from Gabimaru.

But Gabimaru did not bother and secretly released his shadow binding skill, which instantly restricted Clover's body from moving.

"Eh?" Clover mumbled, knowing that his body wouldn't move.

And just as he raised his head and glanced at Gabimaru, he noticed Gabimaru's malicious, scary, smiling face looking at him.

"Got-cha," Gabimaru uttered while smiling excessively, which made Clover shriek.

Chapter End.
