Chapter 13: Monsters at Night - 1
After successfully passing through the Portal, Hancock and the others were shocked by the sight of the City they saw.
Then asked Ran and others to explain the various things that exist in this city. After it was finished, Hancock was interested in doing a Quest.
So Hancock decided to go to the Quest Board and try to find Quests that could be completed before nightfall. Walking for a while, Hancock arrived at the Quest Board.
Not long after searching, Hancock finally found a Quest that she thought could be completed quickly.
"Are you sure you want to do this now?" (Sandersonia)
"Is there any problem?" (Hancock)
"No, but I'm afraid we won't have enough time before night" (Sandersonia)
"No problem, we can complete a quest like this quickly" (Hancock)
"Just accept it, Sister has already made up her mind" (Marigold)
"Alright" Sandersonia nodded and accepted Hancock's decision.
Hancock plans to make a party of 3 people with her two younger sisters. Thus she gave orders to her subordinates.
"You guys listen! As long as I'm an adventurer, I will form a party with Sandersonia and Marigold. Meanwhile, you are free to form a party with anyone. In exploring the Dungeon you can do it freely, only reporting if there is something important. Return to the ship when it's already night! ( Hancock)

"I'll go first. You guys are free to do whatever" (Hancock)
After saying the order, Hancock immediately came out of the Dungeon to tell Arata about her quest. Her two younger sisters followed behind her.
Arriving at the Guild, Hancock went straight to Arata and told him. Arata saw no problem and agreed to the quest that Hancock had chosen.
(Quests are written on paper and displayed on the Quest Board. I'm sure you guys have an idea)
Because it was agreed, Hancock and her two younger sisters immediately entered the Dungeon again and went to meet her client. A few minutes of walking, they arrived at a Potion Shop.
This shop is different from the one Ran showed. It didn't take long for them to enter the shop and saw a woman standing at the counter.
The woman looked to be in her early 20s, had long white hair and wore a black robe and a tall, cone-shaped hat.
Seeing Hancock and her two younger sisters, the woman smiled and said hello.
"Welcome, how can I help you?" (Woman)
"I'm Hancock and these are my two sisters, Sandersonia and Marigold. We took the Quest that you posted on the Quest Board" (Hancock)
"Ohh, so you guys took it. My name is Elaina, the owner of this shop. I need your help to complete my request" (Elaina)
"That's what we're here for. Could you please show me a photo of that plant?! It's not very clear on the Quest paper" (Hancock)
"Sure, wait a moment..." (Elaina)
Elaina went to the bookshelf behind her and picked up a thick book, then returned to the counter. After turning a few pages, Elaina showed me a photo of a leaf shaped like a cassava leaf.
"Here it is, you guys can find it in the north of this town. Even if it's just picking herbs, be careful of monsters. I don't want you guys to get killed" (Elaina)
"Thanks, we'll be careful. We'll be going first" (Hancock)

That was the Quest that Hancock chose, due to the limited time she didn't choose the Monster Conquest Quest. But because Hancock wanted to go out of town, in the end this Quest was chosen.

Hancock and her two younger sisters had arrived at the north gate, and were showing their Adventurer Cards. The guard saw the cards allowing Hancock to leave town.
Just like Ran, Hancock, Sandersonia, Marigold also felt danger around them. Having neither seen nor sensed any monsters, they relaxed slightly.
Before leaving they have determined their respective roles. Hancock as the middle row, Sandersonia as the rearguard, Marigold as the front row.
The weapons they chose were, Shield and Spear for Marigold. Arrows and Daggers for Sandersonia and Hancock chose nothing.
Hancock's fighting style uses her Devil Fruit abilities and martial arts using her feet. But none of the weapons in the selection matched him. Later. Hancock wasn't worried and decided to ask Arata later.
After walking for a few minutes, they arrived at their destination, a plain overgrown with vines. This is where the Morso Herbs grow.
"We have arrived at the location. Let's immediately start looking for the Herbs, if it takes too long the sun may set before we finish. Even if the monsters don't look, stay alert" (Hancock)
Sandersonia and Marigold nodded and immediately searched. Hancock also joined the search. They only had about 2 and a half hours before nightfall.
Even though the Quest rewards are small, they still do it. Apart from the lack of time, they also want to gain experience.

It's been 2 hours and a half they haven't got enough, they have collected 47 Herbs, 3 are lacking. But the sun was starting to set, they speed up the search process.
Found 2 more Herbs, 1 left but a monster appeared in front of them. This monster was not the same as the Horned Rabbit that Ran and the others fought, but a new monster, Living Twig.
Living Twig is a humanoid monster that has the body of a plant. Unlike monsters like the Treant who had the body of a tree, Living Twig's body was just a log.
Seeing the monsters approaching, Hancok and the others prepared to fight. Living Twig ran towards Hancock then waved his hand.
Hancock managed to avoid it by jumping backwards, soon Marigold approached and thrust her spear into the monster in front of her.
Not forgetting, Sandersonia attacked with her bow. The attack was successful but didn't do much damage since the monsters had increased in strength during the night. Now the monster is 3 times stronger than its normal state.
"Sister, we shouldn't force ourselves against that monster, now that it's dark the monsters should be stronger" (Marigold)
"Right, we're retreating. But before that, Sonia. Find 1 herb first, me and Marigold will distract the monster" (Hancock)
"Alright" (Sandersonia)
