Chapter 33: Get Huge Profits
Garp's Group POV.
Garp was currently walking around excitedly, anticipating the battle against monsters for his Quest.
Kuzan and Borsalino followed behind, they walked towards where the client was, namely the City Guard Headquarters, the client who installed this quest was the Guard Commander.
A few minutes later they arrived at the location, in front of the gate there were 2 guards. The two guards stopped Garp's group and asked him why he was doing here.
"We took the Quest, the client should be your Commander" (Garp)
"In that case, please follow me. The Commander is in his room" (Guard)
They followed the guard leading the way, eventually arriving in front of the Commander's room.
The guard knocked on the door several times before he heard a response from inside allowing them to enter.
The door opened, revealing the City Guard Commander's room. Not a fancy space, looks like it was built just for work.
The guard who brought them did not go in and withdrew, returning to guard at the gate.
It could be seen that the Commander was still young, around his mid-20s. The commander stood up and introduced himself.
"Thank you for accepting the quest, my name is Lonardo Gazeba. Please sit down first!" (Lonardo)
Lonardo invited them to sit on the sofa in the room. Lonardo also brought a cup of tea for them to enjoy.
"Thank you, but you don't need to bother doing this" (Garp)
"No problem, I don't mind" Lonardo said as he sat in front of them.
Garp and others who were served tea drank it, they enjoyed it because the tea tasted good.
"Alright, let's talk about the Quest. To the north of this town, about 2 hours walk, there is a large wheat field.
But the last few days, Big Ants appeared which destroyed the wheat. I want you to beat them, in the quest information it only says 20 but if possible I want you to beat more.
Of course, the reward will also be more than written" (Lonardo)
"Leave it to us, we will exterminate all those ants in the field" (Garp)
"Thank you for your help. Also this monster has a skill called Paralyzing Bite, it makes you immobile when bitten" (Lonardo)
"Ohh, thanks for the information. Then we'll be going first, the sooner the better" (Garp)
After saying this, they walked out of the office and walked towards the north gate. Arriving at the gate they were asked to show their Adventurer's Card.
There wasn't anything wrong, so they were able to leave town easily, heading north to arrive at the Quest location.
Along the way, they encountered several monsters, but were easily defeated since the monster was alone and there were three of them.
"I see, we can still use the Devil Fruit power but the attack power is decreasing" (Kuzan)
"Isn't that fine?! It means our weapons aren't diminishing" (Borsalino)
"That's true, but if we want to do another big attack, we won't be able to do it at our current level" (Kuzan)
"Looks like we don't need a big hit for the monsters on the first floor, you can take them 1 VS 1" (Borsalino)
"You two shut your mouths and move faster" (Garp)
Kuzan and Borsalino looked at each other for a moment then chased after Garp who was far ahead of them.
Finally they arrived at the intended location. While there was some visible damage done to the fields and their targets, Big Ants were also visible.
They split up to get the job done quickly, immediately attacking when they were near Big Ant.
Garp with his fists, Kuzab with his ice, and Kizaru with his light. Of course 1 strike wasn't enough to instantly defeat the ant.
The ant used its skill to try to bite the three of them, but it was easily dodged since the ant's movements were easy to read.
Using the Rokushiki and Devil Fruits, the fight proves to be fairly easy. They do have to pay attention to MP usage, but so far it's been working.
About an hour and a half later they had beaten all the ants in sight, a total of 34.
Garp defeated 13 ants, Kuzan 10 ants and Borsalino 11 ants. Garp proudly said he beat more ants.
Kuzan and Borsalino didn't react much because they were already familiar with Garp's behavior like this.
Since the Quest had been completed successfully, they returned to town to report to Lonardo.
Slightly more monsters spawned on the way back, they spawned on their own, so they were able to take them down fairly easily.
They finally arrived at the city, got permission from the guards and walked towards the City Guard Headquarters.
Lonardo was quite pleased with their performance so there will be a little extra bonus in their prize pool.
Garp exited through the Portal, walked into the Guild. In the Guild there is Sengoku and others, they are the last group to arrive.
"Ohh, Sengoku. You're fast enough, did you fail the quest? That's why you came back quickly, Bwahahaha" (Garp)
"Damn you Garp, of course we made it. Unlike you who took too long" (Sengoku)
"Don't get me wrong Sengoku, we took a long time because we had to fight against a lot of monsters. But fortunately the prizes are also added, bwahahaha" (Garp)
"Damn you Garp, got a good quest" (Sengoku)
While Garp is playing around with Sengoku, Kuzan and Borsalino report the success of the Quest to Arata.
The total rewards they received were very good for 1 Quest. Rewards increased to 5 Bronze Coins, and 500 EXP.
Plus EXP from fighting monsters and drop items, namely Big Ant Antenna and Big Ant Fang.
Garp's group is currently having a big harvest, Kuzan and Borsalino have to thank Garp.
They all gathered at the cafeteria including Reyleigh and the Kuja Pirates. Enjoyed a nice dinner after a long day of work.
Sengoku also packed food to distribute to other Marines still on board.
The first day the Marines set foot on Dungeon Island was over.

The morning came, Adventurers made preparations to take Quests in the Dungeon.
The Marines is also included in this matter, currently they are holding a meeting in one of the rooms on the ship.
"We already proved the Dungeon yesterday and the results exceeded our expectations. Those who originally thought this was just a joke but after experiencing it ourselves we can't refute it anymore" (Sengoku)
"Right, we want lots of Marine personnel to come here to get stronger but that's impossible.
We still have documents to complete so some of it will come back and we can't leave Marine Headquarters empty.
Today it is impossible for all of us who are here to go, some must return. Bastille, Momonga and Vergo stayed behind to level up.
The rest returned, but because yesterday Sakazuki messed up he couldn't enter the Dungeon. Today you have to try it Sakazuki, you should apologize to them" (Tsuru)
Akainu was still a little unhappy about this, his high pride made him reluctant to apologize to a nobody.
