Chapter 98: Teach Jake A Lesson

Jake's heart rate increased as he waited for Haewon to give him a response. Despite the fact that he was confident that she wanted him as much as he wanted her, he couldn't help being scared that she might reject him.

"I..."

"There you are," Charlotte interrupted Haewon as she joined them, carrying a glass of watermelon juice.

Although Charlotte had wanted to stay away from them because their closeness was annoying her, she had decided against it when she thought of a whole lot of things they could say and do in her absence. She would rather be there watching than give them even the slightest opportunity to be alone.

Why did she have to come at just that moment? Jake mused in annoyance as he tried to keep himself from scowling.

While Jake was displeased, Haewon felt sort of relieved by the interruption since she had been about to tell him that she needed time to think about it.
