Chapter 30: Looking for the Entrance

Fu Yang looked at the place they were currently in. It was the same room where he had met the villagers of Shar Town.

When he came out of the Mystic Realm, he had thought that maybe the villagers had also found a way to escape. However, there were no people.

He had also considered the possibility that they were eaten by the family of 5-Star Fiery Lions, but he dismissed that idea as there were no traces of human remains.

The Mystic Realm might be hiding more mysteries than he had initially thought.

While Fu Yang pondered the various possible mysteries of the Mystic Realm, Ming Ze followed closely behind, struggling to remain composed. His previous elegant demeanor was nowhere to be seen; he was too frightened deep inside to even think about his image.

When he was kidnapped, he didn't feel any fear, as he was confident he would escape once his strength returned. However, in this Mystic Realm, there was an entity far stronger than him—a 7-Star Black Panther.

A 7-Star Monster Beast possessed the same strength as a Soul Essence Dominion Cultivator, which was two entire major realms above the Nascent Realm. Just by being in the presence of the Black Panther, he could have died.

Thinking about this, a question suddenly arose in Ming Ze's mind: How did Fu Yang survive in the mere presence of the 7-Star Black Panther?

Was Fu Yang an expert in disguise? Or did he possess an artifact that could nullify the pressure from the 7-Star Black Panther?

Even if those questions were answered, it wouldn't change the fact that Ming Ze was stuck here beside a psychopath who was ready to kill himself.

As the two of them continued down the path with Fu Yang's Energy Phone as their light source, they soon found themselves in the room where Fu Yang had first found the Aptitude Seeking Mirror.

Now that he was here, Fu Yang retrieved his cultivation book, 'Be a Good Master and Cultivate,' from his Spatial Ring.

"I need to check if this is the real entrance to the Mystic Realm. Ming Ze, hold my phone and direct the light towards the book," Fu Yang instructed.

Ming Ze followed Fu Yang's instructions and pointed the flashlight of the Energy Phone towards the book.

As soon as Ming Ze saw the contents of the book, he only saw a strange-looking shape.

"Is this really a map? Why does it look so different? Did Fu Yang get scammed?" Ming Ze wondered, but he refrained from vocalizing his question. He was afraid of being left behind by Fu Yang, especially since his strength hadn't returned yet.

Now that Fu Yang could see the map clearly, he immediately looked towards the entrance of the Real Mystic Realm.

According to the book, there should have been two erected columns standing side by side at the entrance, but there was no sign of them in the room.

Returning the book to his Spatial Ring, Fu Yang went to search the entire room.

To his dismay, there were no clues about where these two columns could be. There were no remnants or debris, no foundations...

Perhaps this wasn't the real entrance, and the Aptitude Seeking Mirror had been placed here by previous adventurers who thought it was useless.

Fu Yang considered this possibility, as Mystic Realms were generally ancient domains created by Emperor Realm Cultivators. The stronger and larger realms were usually older, so it was possible that others had entered before.

Fu Yang sighed as he thought about that possibility. However, he recalled the conversation he had had with Ming Ze earlier.

"The blood of a half-blood..."

"Ming Ze, I need your blood," Fu Yang said abruptly.

"Huh?" Ming Ze was taken aback before he was punched in the stomach by Fu Yang, causing him to vomit blood.

"Hmm, that was refreshing," Fu Yang said, fed up with Ming Ze's annoying presence. He finally had an outlet for the frustration he was feeling.

"Why did you do that?!" Ming Ze protested, pointing at the blood on the floor.

As Ming Ze looked at the blood splattered on the floor, he watched as it slowly seeped into the ground. Then, the ground started to crackle.

"What is happening?" Ming Ze asked, feeling the familiar earthquake. In the past, when the ground shook like this, the 7-Star Black Panther appeared.

As Fu Yang surveyed the surroundings, he couldn't spot any openings where the 7-Star Black Panther could emerge. Just as he began to feel relieved, the floor beneath them vanished.

"Ahhh! Am I going to die?" Ming Ze screamed as they fell. He was terrified, realizing that he didn't have the strength to survive such a fall due to the poison his kidnappers had administered earlier.

Unbeknownst to him, the falling sensation lasted only a few seconds before their feet touched the ground.

With his earlier actions, Ming Ze had become a joke and was no longer the elegant person he had always tried to portray.

"Hey, open your eyes. We've stopped falling," Fu Yang said, urging Ming Ze to calm down.

Upon hearing Fu Yang's words, Ming Ze slowly opened his eyes.

The first thing he did was check himself for injuries, but fortunately, he found none. He was healthy and alive.

Fu Yang surveyed their surroundings. They were in a gigantic room with an equally massive gate flanked by columns on each side.

It appeared to be the entrance to the real Mystic Realm.

Beside Fu Yang, Ming Ze stood in astonishment. This was his first time seeing such a majestic place.

The entire room was painted in a caramel white color with gold decorations.

Ming Ze couldn't determine if the gold was real or not, but he knew it would be worth a fortune. While he was captivated by the treasures, Fu Yang approached the gate.

He wanted to figure out how to reach the other side. As he drew closer, he noticed a bed of withered grass.

It seemed like that was where the 7-Star Black Panther had stayed. However, the Black Panther was nowhere to be seen now.
