While in my office, I thought long and hard about the loot distribution and the core rules the familia would follow.
The basic requirements to level up in the familia had already been decided but one major problem remained. If I should contract another familia for potions and gear or to keep buying and raise Nikolaos and Eleni to fulfil those tasks.
Eleni could already start, but Nikolaos needed the blacksmithing development ability to make use of his skill.
I spent an hour mulling over this till I arrived at a conclusion. I would make a contract outside while still raising my siblings in their craft.
They would become exclusive craftsmen for the executives of the familia. I could ask Hephaestus to help with Nikolaos and help Eleni myself as I learned a lot of knowledge on alchemy from Rize.
The familia would take 35 percent of earned Valis from the dungeon, the familia will provide the option of residence in the familia manor, new familia members will be trained by the executives for one month after joining, after which they would be required to move in a minimum team of 5 and lastly the familia would loan starting gear to new adventurers to begin their journey in the dungeon.
These were the basic rules, I then added a few more rules to mediate conflicts and other minor things. I wanted to find a familia to contract for both gear and potions but we were currently poor so we needed to grind a bit.
The familia manor was divided in two, the males resided on the left wing while the females on the right. Only the executives we're entitled to single rooms on the third floor.
This could change depending on how prosperous the familia becomes. The kitchen and baths were on the 1st floor and there was a large dining cafeteria to eat in. Well the whole manor was basically a boarding school dorm replica.
After I was done with all the office work, I called everyone to the lounge. After which I decided to register them at the guild today and buy their starter gear.
I also gave each of them a copy of the rules that I made and posted some on a notice board at the entrance of the familia house.
We then walked towards the guild to register them as official members. I decided to start the patrol of the streets with them soon, this was agreed upon with the Astraea familia when all the new members became acquainted with the city.
They were low levelled so it would still be me solo till they reached level 2 so I would just continue moving with the Astraea familia members as I had been doing these past months.
On the way to the guild, I received some gifts as thanks for the help that I had provided to some Orario residents while patrolling with the Astraea familia.
I wasn't very popular yet, well because it was just me but I was easily recognized because of my features by the residents in the area that I patrolled. Especially by the females.
This made my siblings and Clair a bit excited at the thought of receiving such recognition too.
We soon arrived at the guild, I sent them toward Rose's booth. She was one of few people that I was familiar with in the guild.
It had been a while since I had seen Shizu.I used her booth to exchange dungeon loot often in the past, but we couldn't have any long conversations because she was always swamped with work. Soon I arrived at Rose's booth and greeted her.
"Hi Rose" I said
"Hey Draco, didn't you go to the dungeon today???" She asked.
"No, was moving to the new familia house and went to pick up some new familia members. I am here to officially register them with the guild" I said while pointing behind me to which she laughed.
"So you do other things besides dungeon diving" she said.
"Yup, meet my siblings and childhood friend" I whispered to her. Well I whispered because people could be listening to our conversation and I didn't want anyone to use my siblings against me. They were still currently weak so better be safe than sorry.
I then proceeded to introduce each of them and soon the registration was completed. They were each assigned a dungeon advisor before we left. After which I took them to the newbie smithing area of the Hephaestus familia.
I wanted to meet Hephaestus but it wasn't possible without Bahamut accompanying me, well at least for now since I was just a level 2 nobody to others.
After picking their gear, I proceeded to give them a tour of the city and places not to go. We then bought some potions and basic necessities which left me with a small amount of Valis.
I didn't worry too much about it as when they got used to grinding, the money would start rolling in. We then returned home and I opened the alchemy and smithing workshops for both Eleni and Nikolaos.
The day went by quickly as the house was buzzing with excitement with new members joining. The rowdy atmosphere added to the celebration and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
A party was thrown in the evening for the new manor and the new additions to the familia. Despite the chaos, the party continued with energetic enthusiasm. It was this chaotic even without alcohol, which made me wonder what would happen after they come of age. After the party everyone went to their respective resting area. Tomorrow would be their first dive in the dungeon.
The next day, early in the morning. I woke up to see Bahamut and Lili on my bed in my new room, despite them having their own rooms it looked like they had gotten too used to sleeping with me.
I could understand Bahamut but not Lili. 'Maybe she had a nightmare' I thought, before I slipped away from bed heading to the boys public bathroom on the first floor.
After cleaning up I went to wake everyone up including Bahamut to clean up too. After that I went to the cafeteria to cook breakfast and lunch for everyone.
Carrying lunch was required because I didn't intend to leave the dungeon with them until evening. I planned to act as their supporter while they battled monsters between the 1st and 3rd floors. After they got used to fighting by themselves on the upper floors, I would go on my own dive to farm excelia.
After breakfast, we put on our gear and begun our march to the Twilight garden to drop Off Bahamut as no one would be at the manor to protect her till we returned.
We had already reached an agreement with the Astraea familia about that and could use this chance to introduce the new members to them. Soon we arrived at the manor and knocked on the door.
To my surprise it was Kaguya that opened the door while wearing a revealing kimono. She appeared to be sleepy too.
"Sigh, good morning Kaguya, your kimono style is quite bold today" I said hinting at her to close up. This wasn't the first time I had seen her like this.
I was currently with my younger brothers who had red faces as the stimulus was too much for them to handle.
She noticed what I was hinting at and quickly adjusted her kimono. She seems unfazed by their gazes in contrast to her normal graceful way of speaking.
She tended to be a bit more foul mouthed and unrefined with people close to her while being graceful and ojou sama like when with new people.
Normally she wouldn't care and leave her kimono like that but she saw there were some unknown people and quickly fixed herself up.
"Morning Draco, what brings you here and who are these new people" she said
"These are the new familia members that I talked about before and we're here to drop Bahamut here as we agreed" I said as I didn't want to go in. We were going straight to the dungeons after this.
"Ah, do you want to come in" she said
"No, taking them for their first dungeon dive and here is the new address our familia resides in" I said as I handed her a piece of paper with our address.
"Come visit us when you girls are free for official introductions, sorry for not doing so now and Bahamut please don't cause them too much trouble" I said, to which Kaguya nodded and Bahamut looked pissed, so I turned around to make my exit quickly.
"You all be safe" said Bahamut as we left her and continued towards the dungeon.
