Chapter 54: The New Polaris

A few over a hundred more people came along with me to Polaris. Logistics of this kind of mass movement in a world overrun by zombies was tough enough to make it into national exam question sets, but we managed.

After dividing ourselves into smaller groups of people, we sourced out vehicles, and told everyone who was leaving the Juma penitentiary that they were on their own till they reached Polaris.

I mean, who would bother with moving them anyway?

Quite a few of the groups, including the one with Catalan John Simmons and almost everyone from Elmost's group, made it to Polaris at the same time as I did.

Since we were all taking different routes, the rest would have a longer travel time.

The last thing we wanted to do was to attract all the remaining undead over to Polaris.

A clang resounded.

An airhorn blew, guiding away all the undead loitering at the gates.

The fence was pulled to the side, and we stormed inside.
