Chapter 155: Visitors...
"Nothing," Adam had no thoughts of explaining it, "Then until next time," and he left the place just the way he arrived.
But even if he left the world the impact he had made with his visit was still reverberating through the world.
His sudden appearance in Cocoyashi Village was spread through the Conomi Islands first before spreading through the entire West Blue taking it by storm.
There wasn't any shortage of people who knew him in this world, just like how there was no shortage of people who were searching for him.
But because of how long it had been since he last appeared, the factions around the world were waiting to get proper confirmation if Adam had really appeared in Cocoyashi Village, they didn't want to waste their manpower on gossip or false rumors.
Even then some people didn't care about that, as soon as they heard of a white-haired man appearing in Cocoyashi Village they rushed there instantly. They didn't mind if it was indeed just false, these people couldn't back down.
Marines were the first ones who couldn't sit this one out, or more specifically.

"Stop harassing them can't you tell that the ship is already going at top speed?" He said while eating his rice crackers merrily, "You should be thankful that they were able to change directions on such short notice, but if are in such a hurry jump into the ocean and swim there yourself."
Garp wouldn't let him get away with this bullshit because right now they were supposed to be heading to Marineford. There was an emergency summons from the Fleet Admiral and there was no doubt that…
'It is to discuss about him,' Garp thought as Sakazuki was seething because there was nothing he could do in this situation.
These two happened to be around the area on a mission when they heard it and instead of going back to Marineford, they chose to visit Cocoyashi Village.
"I need to bring that man to Justice, someone like him who tramples on Justice shouldn't be left alive," Sakazuki looked like he was about to explode with veins popping up on his face and neck.
He was pissed because he couldn't forget that day no matter what.
'I'll end him, if he stays alive others will suffer,' That was his reason for rushing there and….
"You are correct," Sakazuki turned to look at Garp, "Someone indeed trampled on Justice that day." But the latter continued to speak with a rare serious expression on his face.
"…." Sakazuki glared at Garp but didn't say another word, "Alert me when we reach the destination." Instead, he spoke to the Marine soldier next to him and left.

"…Sir," Belle-mere was torn since in front of her was the literal Hero of Marine, there was not a single Marine who hadn't looked up to this man who was unassumingly munching on his rice crackers.

"You youngins put too much attention to the titles," Garp shook his head, "I'd say you're more of a Hero for saving the people here while I could do nothing for them. That is why there is no need to think that I am better than you." He found out while talking to the village chief that she was injured because she tried to protect the village by attacking the pirates.
"I… couldn't do anything," Belle-mere didn't think she deserved that praise since the one who saved them was the white-haired man, she herself was about to die helplessly.
Garp didn't say anything but he was impressed by Bellemere's honesty, it really made him happy that there were still Marines like this around.
But there was someone else who didn't take kindly to that news, since he honestly didn't care what happened to the village or Belle-mere. He was here for just one thing…
"Could it be that you all are keeping information because of what that criminal did by accident?" Sakazuki wasn't going to let this matter pass, "I heard that you and your daughters were the closest to the scene," He had asked around the villagers and got that info which was how they ended up at Belle-mere's house.
"I wouldn't do such a thing," Belle-mere protested but it fell on deaf ears.
"Where are they?" Sakazuki asked because Nami and Nojiko were nowhere to be seen, it was only Belle-mere who came to talk to them.
"I have asked them myself since I had also seen the Wanted poster and was concerned, but they said that they weren't able to see his face as well bec-" And as Belle-mere was explaining that Sakazuki stood up.
"Bring them out," He wouldn't be satisfied with just this until he was '100 percent' sure that it wasn't Adam who appeared here.
And he wasn't shy about using whatever methods it took to uncover the truth.
'This idiot...' Garp frowned and looked at Sakazuki who was letting out his killing intent, he was trying to make sure that Belle-mere knew that he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
"I-I've already told you everything I know," But Belle-mere wasn't going back down knowing that, she didn't trust Sakazuki one bit after this show of hostility.
There was no way she was letting him close to her daughters with that kind of attitude.
"If you want to get in the way of Justice, then sure," Sakazuki was about to attack, he had already located the children.
They were just outside of the house and were currently listening in on them.
'I need to make sure they don't run away,' Sakazuki thought as he tried to send his ill intent towards the two young girls, 'If they do, I have the mother hostage.' He glanced at Belle-mere while she was having trouble standing straight.
He was so absorbed in himself that he couldn't even notice that Garp had stood up from his seat. But it seemed that there was no need for the Hero of the Marine to do anything.
Since as soon as Sakazuki's mind went in the direction of hurting a child to get his means…

"Ugh… hah*" He fell to his knees instantly bathed in cold sweat as his breathing became erratic.
For him, all of his surroundings vanished and he was in a pitch-black world where he could feel a stare on his back.
'Y..you… Bastard!!!' Sakazuki wanted to shout but words wouldn't come out, all he could do was stay on his hands and knees unable to move.
It has been like this since that day, anything his thoughts strayed and were on the verge of killing an innocent person he would suffer from this backlash.
