Chapter 2: Attack on Crown prince
Princess Gu Hui and her bodyguard Ah Du are battling with a vast number of guards. Both are overpowered by the vast number of guards approaching to kill them in seconds.
Seeing they were no match for the guards, Ah Du takes out the chilly powder from her hidden pocket and throws it in the guard's face. All the guards start panicking and groaning with pain. Their eyes were burning, They can't even open their eyes.
Before they could celebrate the temporary victory, more guards came there and shot arrows at them.
Gu Hui and Ah Du panicked and ran from there.
While running Gu Hui was about to get shot by the arrow but Ah Du saves her and took the arrow. She falls to the ground.
" Ah Du, A... Ah, Du ....." Gu Hui screamed her name, tears streaming down her face. She looks at the guard approaching her and at Ah Du who was half unconscious in her arm.
" Princess, pls pls go away from here. Don't care about me I was born to save you. pls go away from here" Ah Du said.
Princess Gu Hui didn't want to go but she reluctantly obeyed Ah Du. She ran deeper into the forest and suddenly she becomes unconscious.
A few months later,
Today the Jin dynasty royal palace was preparing for the royal banquet which all important officials, governors, and aristotic families from all over the world will be attending.
Every corner of the palace showed dynasty's wealth.
Along with a lot of physical wealth, It had a powerful army, devoted ministers, and a network of powerful supporters, all of whom were essential to preserving the dynasty's dominance.
The emperor's word was law, and his subjects understood that his goodness and power were what made their wealth, and power possible.
There was a rumour that this royal banquet was organized to select a perfect bride and a crown princess of the Jin dynasty. so, many young miss along with their families were excited to attend the banquet, as who wants to miss the opportunity?
In the Huxia palace, The warm water embraced the crown prince's tired body as he relaxed in a lukewarm bath, taking away the worries of the day and getting ready for the banquet.
Suddenly there was an unexpected turn, a attacker made a surprise attack from behind with the intent of piercing the crown prince's neck with a sharp and shiny knife. The crown prince quickly took the person's hand in mid-strike, diverting the blade away from his neck with overwhelming power and quickness.
The crown prince quickly turned without pausing, using his strength to defeat the man who attacked him. He threw the attacker with a strong effort towards the pool, where the attacker slammed into the water with a loud bang.
Now, the attacker's face was revealed.
Seeing the attacker the crown prince was amused.
The attacker was a young woman with long flowing hair, snow white face, and delicate features that gave off an innocent aura. Her once-malign eyes now showed a mixture of fear, despair, and a faint touch of rebellion.
He had seen countless beauties till now, but he must say this attacker is the most beautiful lady he had ever seen in his life.
Crown Prince Jin Yuchen stopped staring and suddenly started laughing crazily. All of a sudden his enemies sent a woman to attack him.
If the attacker was some powerful with whom he can compete then it was something. But he is impressed with this woman, she came inside his Huxia palace which was the most guarded palace in the whole Jin dynasty Palace.
Hearing him laugh, the attacker becomes terrified. She slowly took a hesitant step back while looking for a way to escape from there.
But the crown prince took hold of her and stopped her steps before she could make her hurried escape.
Crown Prince Jin Yuchen's attitude changed to dark and scary. His eyes were fierce, which testified to the great power he possessed a power that could both defend and destroy.
" Why are you running??? You should have thought this before attacking me?" .... Crown Prince Jin Yuchen said with a killing intent face.
" Death is better than being caught by a devil like you" The attacker sneered and replied with no fear of being caught by Crown Prince Jin Yuchen.
Hearing the noise inside, the hidden guard and the guard of the crown prince run inside the Huxia Palace.
The attacker pushes the crown prince and runs away from there in a go.
Seeing the scene in front of them all the guards stood in silent confusion. Crown Prince Jin Yuchen's right-hand man, Zhong Shanshan, mustered the courage to speak. With a lowered head, he explained the guards' concern for the crown prince's safety.
" Your royal highness we are sorry to disturb you. We heard some noise, we were afraid that your royal highness was in some danger so we... " Zhong Shanshan his right-hand man said.
Crown Prince Jin Yuchen, however, stopped him quickly and dismissed their worries with a wave of his hand.
" No nothing you all can go" Crown Prince replied. He told the guards to leave.
Zhong Shanshan knew someone was there.
" Your royal Highness but ...."
" Now stop it and get out of here. Didn't you hear what I said? Leave".
They immediately left from there, leaving the crown prince alone.
Jin Yuchen looks at the way the attacker had run and smiled mysteriously. He could have easily taken her down, but he purposefully let her get away.
His goals and intentions remained mysterious, known only to himself. He knew the attacker will again come to attack him. He found the excitement of the pursuit to be much more alluring than an easy victory.
The Royal Banquet was about to start, and all of the young miss was eagerly waiting for the crown prince's arrival. Each young miss secretly wanted to win the crown prince's favour and affection.
He had unmatched charm, outstanding good looks, and an authoritative demeanour. They hoped for a chance to leave a lasting impression on him so they could be his crown princess or even a mere concubine will do
