Chapter 3: Doubts and questions

As he thought about that, he looked at the rack. He had little hope from those brown books. He started at the broken pieces, looking at Ziam Duisberg, his new identity, the young leader candidate of the Duisberg family.

Duisburg's family was pretty powerful in the novel. From the story, he knew 2 characters from this massive family that were part of the main household of the family.

The trash of the family who got humiliated in the military school by the protagonist in front of all alliance members. 'Yup that Ziam.'

Then there was his step-sister, one of the side harem members of the protagonist. She ultimately becomes the young leader, but throughout the novel, she did not like to talk about the family.

He knew a brief about both of their life but he did not know what happen to Ziam after that day in the academy. Did he die or survive? That is a big headache for Liam.

Then there was the main character, Khan born with utter trash talent but somehow different cheat items came to him that were perfectly suitable for trash like him to make him the strongest of the era.

In the story, Khan used magic in different ways. He used magic with the help of these cheats' items. This made the reader not understand how the magic in the novel world worked for ordinary people.

Liam sighed. Even after reading half of the novel, he still did not know how magic worked in this world. He felt bad as a reader and at his stupidity about reading this thing.

Then there were many questions related to his old self that bothered him. 'Why I am selected to be transmitted? Why in Ziam's body? Am I the only one or there are others like me in this situation? Is this really the same story?'

Liam started sorting out the 100 s of questions in his mind, he just did not understand how some novel protagonists cope with these questions.

Through many years in prison, trying not to lose his sanity, Liam had developed a reading habit. He had developed this crazy interest in reading about humans, the topics like biology, mentality, physiology, culture, history, and many other topics too some complicated things like how to fight, the physiology of pain, how to control someone's emotions, make them happy, angry and others.

After reading all that, he developed a unique way of thought process that led to new crimes that made him one of the most famous criminals only at 22 years. He did not have talent in reading or eidetic memory. Nope, he just read all the books on human and their emotions 1000 s of times. He had a big obsession to understand all about human emotions.

He experienced how, for a little fun, people did not care about others and destroyed their life. In his last life, he learned these things after losing everything. Now in this life, he might become something bigger than his last life, a life with no hiding but open tranny.

Liam spent the next hour arranging his priorities. He glanced at the beds in the cell. The situation was not that great, but with some effort, he could turn around all of this.

While Liam arranged his priorities, Ziam's soul stopped crying. Liam sensed that and had a smile back on his face and asked, "Ziam Duisberg, can we talk now?"

He waited for a few minutes but received no replies. Liam shook his head. "Looks like I need to strengthen my head next,"

[Wait! I will talk but don't do that. Are you crazy? Why are you hurting us? Please, no more pain.]

"No worry, if you talk with me, then I will not do that."

"If I heard the word peasant 1 more time, then prepared for worse," Liam said with a wide smile on his face.

Ziam's soul stopped speaking. He did not know what was going on with his body, but he was smart enough to understand that if he agitate this monster, then this monster would start smashing his head on the wall.

Ziam looked at the only light source in front of him. He did not know how, but the moment he woke up, he found himself in darkness. He did not understand what was going on at the start, but then slowly he sensed his body. To his shock, he had lost control of his body.

He tried his best, but no matter how much he tried, he was unable to get his body control back. The surprise did not end. There was this new monster that got control of his body.

He heard vampires could control someone with some kind of ritual, but what happened to him? He did nothing like that, still how this monster got control of his body?

'Waaaaaaa' his life got so worse. It was just a few days ago everyone blamed him for that thing. Not wanting to face the academy trial, he left the house, but they dragged him to the campus and sent him to the cleansing prison.

He had some hope that things might get better in the future, but then in today's council meeting, they announced his imprisonment at level 2. He realized his family gave up on him, he only had 1 year or 2 at max to live but now he got trapped in his own body.

All these drastic changes made him so confused, he did not know what was going on. Am I forever trapped in my own body? No, I could not give up this easily.

Ziam did not know if this guy was mana less peasant or a monster, but this guy knew how to hurt him. He wept in the pain a little. After the pain subside he came to sense and found the monster was not doing anything but being lost in thought.

'I will not spend the last few years of my life trapped. No!' With determination, Ziam started thinking about various plans from threatening to begging. He knew if this monster gave him control back, then he could ask his family for help. 'Dad will definitely help me get out of this situation.'

He got engrossed in planning when the monster said something, this made him freeze in panic. 'Shit, I did not have any plan ready. Mm, it would be best to not say anything.' thinking that he ignored the monster, but the next sentence sent a shiver to him.

'Fck, this monster would kill me. AAAAAAA fck him.' Ziam tried acting but …
