Chapter 53: Cage in the sea [2] Part III

“Shh. If you don't want to die, don't be noisy, all right?”

“Their senses are very sensitive. So, if you want to live, be a good boy, not bait.” I was amused, unlike Joel who was not enjoying this at all. I put on the new wireless communication device Steve gave me and jumped into the cage without caring that I had just been down there.

I wanted to get it over with so we could return without any worries.

“Don’t drop us too deep, Steve. I’m afraid someone will have a heart attack.”

“If anything happens, tell us immediately, Sol.”

“Sure.” I nodded at Owen’s warning. He shut the cage before Steve dropped us down again. I noticed that Joel seemed to be taking quite some time to say good-bye to his uncle. I really wanted to push his head under the water.

Unfortunately, I could not do that, so I just shook my head and shifted my attention to the sea. All of a sudden, I had to flick my eyes to the person by my side who suddenly reached out to hold my hand.
