When I woke up again, it was morning.
I was caught in their embrace which stopped me from going anywhere. It seemed like somebody had a nightmare last night, so they held on to me tight. At this time, I would not blame them. It was rather pleasing waking up to see them. I enjoyed waking up in somebody’s arms and the touch of warm breath on my skin.
The time of happiness, unfortunately, had to end.
“I must meet Noel.” The first sentence of the day was said when I was walking downstairs. “He knows where Seb is, and it might be better if he’d tag along.”
“We can find him ourselves.”
“I won’t let you do that,” I said. Dy bit back his words. “You’ve been looking for him and destroying ships. We should find him by pinpointing an exact location, not taking the greatest risks.”
