Sarell was caught off guard by this request, the memory of Reqiel saying that he hated to eat all by himself coming to him. His instinct was to turn him down but he remembered King Rinon's words quite clearly - Reqiel was allowed to do as he liked as long as he remained on the Royal Mount.

"Just this one time," Sarell gave in like he wouldn't eat with Reqiel every day unless he didn't want it.

Reqiel's deep blue eyes came to life at his response, an unsure smile on his face, "Really?" He stopped to ask.

"Sit down at the table, Your Grace," Sarell dryly said, "I'm risking my neck for you."

Reqiel didn't waste one more moment, hurrying to the table. He sat and waited excitedly for Sarell, still having a difficult time believing that he had actually gotten what he asked for.

He stared at him in awe throughout the meal, eating more than Sarell had ever seen him eat at a time.
