Chapter 1: The Beginning (1)
*Thud*
"Ouch"
Guess I fell from my bed again. Well, it's nothing new to me.
"Wake up, you brat"
"How long are you going to sleep?"
"Wake up and make your breakfast, we're going to work"
*Sigh*
After waking up from bed I went to the kitchen to make my breakfast.
"Hey, I'm Skyler and I'm 19 years old a college student"
Well, as you can see I'm just an ordinary Asian student here studying in America . And here, I'm living with my uncle Lee and aunt Mari. My life wasn't so hard like this before. Let's say, after my parents and sibling died in a car accident my life totally changed. And let's say I was the only one who survived in that accident. Well it happened when I was only 7 years old.
"Finally, my breakfast is done".
Then I looked at the time.
"Oh no, I have to hurry up or I'll be late for my class"
Yes, as you can see I have to clean the whole goddamn house before leaving for my class. Because if I don't do it they'll beat me up, aka my uncle and aunt.
"Finally.....,my work is done here. I should get going too."
Well, my uncle and aunt let's me live with them not because they pity me or something. Let's say in this world only one person care's about me, and that's my only uncle or you can say my father's older brother. Every month he send's me money. But unfortunately I don't get those money. My uncle and aunt takes those money from me and for this reason they let me stay with them.
"I guess I have reached".
Well, my college is an another hell-hole for me.
"Wow, look who's back"
"Come on, don't bully this nerd or he might start crying"
After that they started to laugh at me. Well I can't do anything, because I'm alone here. I have no friends nor any support. Suddenly one of them took my bag from me and one of them pushed me in the hallway.
"Let's see what does this nerd have in his bag?"
"Give it to me"
I'm helpless here. Then they all started to throw everything on the ground.
"Woah, what's this?"
"Seems like a necklace"
"No please give it back, it's very important to me"
I tried to get it from them but they pushed me started to kick and beat me. After a while of beating me.
"Stop, I think it's enough for today"
Then they threw my bag and poured water on my books then threw the necklace at me. But hopefully I caught the necklace. Then they left me alone in the hallway.
"Good thing it's ok"
It's the only memory of my mother so it's very important to me.
"Arghh"
I growled in pain. Then I looked at my books.
"It's all wet, I don't think I can go to the class like this"
After that I went home because my body hurts from the beating and my books are all wet. Then after reaching home I took a shower and treated my wounds. After awhile my aunty came home.
"You brat your teacher just called me, why didn't you go to your class today?"
"I-I just fell in the stairs and got hurt that's why"
Than all I heard was a loud sound of a slap.
"Next time, talk to your teacher on your own"
"Y-yes"
With that she left me alone in the room. Then I went to the bathroom and put a band-aid on my cheek.
"Ahhh, my lips are also bleeding"
Then I went to my bed and lied down.
"I'm so tired, why can't I have a life like those other students"
Suddenly my eyes were getting heavy.
"I wish I could go to another world, where I can have a friend and be happy even for a little bit."
I suddenly felt a cold breeze on my body it kind of felt really good. And I can smell something very sweet like a flower. Then I slowly opened my eyes.
"Wait, where am I?"
