Chapter 3: Ch.3 The outside
Isaac pov:
8:30 in the morning. In the city of Tingen.
June/29/1348.
"argg...Where am I?"
"HA, right. I am in LOTM, And my name now is Isaac. The son of a middle-upper-class father, and the new owner of the Strauss watch shop.
My father dies a week now. And my mother die before I could remember."
'Anyway, I need to do a small party for my entering the Beyonder world.'
'let's go to eat, and then do plans for me.'
Isaac gets up from the bed and goes to the living room. There he prepares a toast with eggs with what little rest of the milk.
It was then that Isaac remember, he was to buy new ingredients.
After eating and cleaning the curtly. Isaac takes two notebooks and a pet, then sit on the couch and started to think, what is the rule of acting in the archivist sequence?

So... Let's start with, what is the acting method?
The acting method has a connection with all the sequences in the same pathway. Most of the time is concentrated on the acting to prepare to be the sequence 0.
So, the equation is:
The name/concept sequence you are now + the name/concept of sequence 0 = the acting you need to do.
At least that is what I understood from the light novel.
So, with the equation, the connection of an archivist with a traveler is, to become an accomplished traveler you need to know a little about everything to know how to act in the middle of the travel or to know where are you and where are you going.
💡 so, the rule is to prepare for the adventure before going in.

When Isaac just finish speaking he felt a sensation of gaining more control over his body and mind.

It seems I digest about 15% of the potion.
But it seems I miss out on something.
An archivist is not preparing, but more storing knowledge for the love and respect of it. Because he knows that knowledge is power in the right hands.

HA. Right Archivists are people, who know and come to help others, in finding the answer to their questions or positioning them on the right path.

But we believe the truth, Is a self-truth that is connected to the only sole truth, and knowledge is just a path to find it.
We respect knowledge but do not venerate it.

Then Isaac feel that 38% was digested.

I feel like I come to know just 3 / 4 of the rules of the sequence.
Anyway, now I have a way to faster the digestion of the potion.
I have a feeling, that I can digest all the potion in a maximum of six months.
But I need to remember. I am just acting, nothing more, nothing less."
After writing it, on the page in a language he just invented, so no one could know what is written in it.
After finishing writing, He closes the note and opened another notebook.
A Notebook for Planning the Future.
Into it, he writes:

" Ok. It should be enough for now."
Say, Isaac stretches his legs and hands.
" It is about time I go out to buy the ingredient for eating and to see the outside.
Maybe I could find some detective, to find the club with some connection to a library."
After resting a little bit more. Isaac goes down the stairs, but not before taking some money and hiding all that has tied with Beyonder world.
He just guards his compass and some money.
Even the Kay and the suitcase, he hides in some secret compartment that his father prepares, so he and his son could guard things in total secrecy.
And it was well made. It was in the concrete wall. The wall itself was looking as tough as there was nothing.
Even the door of the compartment was made so that if someone come to test the wall they can't hear any change.
When Isaac comes down the stairs. what comes to his eyes was surprisingly a big room, with all kinds of watches on display in boxes of glass.
Which is a surprising thing. Because in times with a lifestyle like Victoria's era, even though the glass wasn't an unheard thing, it sure was very expensive.

After going around the shop, Isaac put his suit on and takes his cane.
When he was outside he could not help but marvel at the view.
Just as Isaac was about to walk. an old woman that was walking spotted Isaac.
???: "Ho!!! Isaac. How are you doing we didn't see you for almost a week."
Isaac: "Grandma Liz! I am good, thanks the god. And how are you and Alice?"
Elizabeth(the grandma's name): "Good. It seems that you pass over what happened last week."
Isaac: "Yeah. What was, was and what will be, will be. it is in the past now."[ I don't know if the proverb exists in ENG, if not pls tell me.]
Elizabeth: "Hey Isaac. you are old enough to be married right? do you want to go on a date with my granddaughter Alice? You and Alice were quite the lovebird in..."
'I think I need to get out of here and fast.'
Isaac 😅: "Sorry Grandma, I need to go. Till next time."
Isaac turned around and starts escaping from there. But didn't forget to weave his hands.
Elizabeth return but did not forget to say high enough so Isaac can hear.
Elizabeth: "Sigh. Kid this day. they don't understand, they don't have all the time in the world."

Isaac a while later starts looking for a detective.
'where can I find a detective out of no were'
suddenly Isaac feels a pule from his spirituality to his pocket where the compass is.
'em? Why did my power trigger? Ha! I think, my spirit wants to tell me that the answer is in the compass.'
Isaac then takes out the compass and starts to remember the power of the compass.
'
Ha, Right. The Compass Can let me see where is the thing I want the most right now.
The uniqueness of my group of pathways is special because they don't have any real side effects. Just two.
One, you can just use the power unlocked with the corresponding sequence.
Meaning the higher my sequence the more power I can get from the uniqueness.
But because I am the rightful owner of this pathway, I can exercise more control and especially the compass because I started with the traveler pathway.
two. You have to be in the group corresponding to this uniqueness. Or the uniqueness will teleport to a hidden place.
But there are some exceptions like me and the compass as it will always return to me.
