Chapter 2: Acomodation
As we all know with a new life there is opportunity. What we will do to make up for all of it is up to us, now is up to the young man who had been given a second chance.
'Let's see, i'm a baby now. It seems i'm around 12 months old, as I have good vision, hearing and touching sense. I can also track moving objects.
It looks like this body is decent too, as I can walk without much problems and I have decent balance. Yes this is a completely healthy body. It will give me all of the opportunities I need to achieve my goal.

Starting with organizing everything, first my name is Chang Luo Chen, my parents names are Chang Yu Xuan for my father and Chang Xiu Ying for my mother. This is called the Bei Hing village, it seems that each village has a specific Chinese like name without representing anything. Then there are the areas in a country, the country and the continent, each of them has a Chinese name that represents something.
This area is composed of lotuses, for example the area we are in is called Crimson Tears. In this area there are five districts called the five lotuses, the White Lotus in the north, the Black Lotus in the south, the Golden Lotus in the west, the Jade Lotus in the west and finally the Crimson Lotus at the center.
These lotuses are huge, each of them having tens of such villages like Bei Hing. Just a line in any of the west-east center direction is worth at least 5000-6000 kilometers with my approximation, that's only from the center towards either west or east direction, going from the end point of west towards the end point of east is double the distance if traversed in a straight line.
the north and south distance was much bigger, easily surpassing 8000 kilometers from the center towards each end point in a straight line.
there are several tens of areas inside the country, some bigger than Crimson Tears, and the name of the country is called Wishful Jade Goddesses. The names of the areas suggested that this goddess is a greedy collectionar, some areas are named after mountains, some after statues, some after exotic animals and some after palaces, all to fulfill the goddess greedy desire for the material wealth.
All the countries in this world are huge and there are many countries in a continent, there is likely more than a hundred countries, each of them have tens of millions of kilometers worth of distance if we go from and end point to the opposite end point with a straight line direction. Even the Wishful Jade Goddesses country is at least 50 million kilometers and thats with my lowest estimates.
The name of the continent is the Jade Dao Frog, with tens of billions of kilometers, it is a continent surrounded by waters, the ocean specifically. There are rumors that the world has more than 1 continent, although I don't know how many it is likely that the world is at least trillions of kilometers worth in size. All of these things makes me wonder how gravity works here compared to our tiny dot worth slightly more than 10000 km called earth.
It is stronger, are the bodies of this world stronger than the ones we had on earth so that we don't feel the difference?
There are many materials similar to earth like wood, grass, and stones.
Their composition is similar, when I hit them, I feel a similar resistance comparable to that of the earth materials. The pressure of the gravity isn't different from our earth, so I don't know if the physics are different here, perhaps it's made so that it sustains itself even with different and irregular levels.
There are also newer, stronger materials here compared to the ones from earth, for example immortal materials. These things should affect the gravity of the world in sorts of manner. If the stories I heard are true then some of these materials are close to the density of a black hole. Regardless, I still didn't hear of any abnormality regarding the gravity of this world. I definitely suspect that something control the laws here, otherwise this world would self distruct due to the material imbalance and condense into a black hole.
Even those goddamn immortals should turn into an ever expanding black hole due to the toughness obtained from cultivation, but the rules are clearly different here, and my initial understanding of mass and matter may not apply here, this is a very interesting matter and I can barely wait to study it.
Now that we are done with the spatial and abstract matter let's climb down to the earth and talk about our business. My family has a stable wealth condition. We gain our existence from farming crops and hunting wild beasts.
Yes there are wild beasts here like the boar and the bear. They are similar to the animals from earth, and those closer to the village don't have any cultivation. My father is a member of a hunting team called Tiger's Claw that has 5 members. They main strategy is to ambush from far away using arrows. You need to shoot the beast vital organs like the heart so that you can kill them in an instant.
He has a lot of experience in finding the tracks, identifying and tracking the beast. After finding it he will kill it and bring it home. Each member must hunt one animal individually and we hunt on the Sunday of each week. Basically the end of the week is the day of the hunt.
The reasons for the teams of multiple people is to reduce the danger that lies in the forest, for example a bear is one of the dangers. It might be impossible to take it down with only one archer so they need to help each other. The method of killing is different from the method of hunting, after all some of the arrows that the members possess are poisonous and used for killing rather than, it is far more effective, but it poisons the meat. There is also the possibility of fishing, after all there are plenty of lakes close to the village.
"Luo Chen I'm home" I heard my mom speaking with lovely enthusiasm as she entered the house, it seems that she finished her work in the garden. She has a liking of displaying such optimistic behavior, life was good, she has a good husband who brings food, a stable financial situation, an abundance of farm land with very good conditios for crops and a healthy baby boy ready to complete the final part of a perfect family, why wouldn't she be happy.
Well there might be some interesting changes on that last part but I won't be unfilial. Why would I be, after all she gave me this opportunity. She gave me a good stable life, and she loves me, of course I will love her back and act as her son. There are many benefits for both of us and it saves us from unnecessary trouble. Because she doesn't know the truth she gets to have a real son, not different from a new born one, that's her untainted perspective, she will be happy with these circumstances and she will love me.
I will also get the benefit of her love, a good life, a stable future towards cultivation without any unnecessary familial drama that will obstruct my clear defined path. The mos important thing is to stay away from any 'evil purifier' exorcist, this is my greatest motivation. Being honest, I need them to pave my path to success. After all I can't survive with ma baby or my future 2 year old body if I tell them the truth. They are very likely to abandon me or worst case scenario call an exorcist. Each of these bastard exorcist are at least a stage 3 mythical creature level cultivator. Tgey are an foundation establishment cultivator that is skilled with talismans, how the hell can I defend myself against these monsters with no cultivation and my toddler body, they will rip me piece to piece like ripping unprepared spaghetti.
Telling the truth is a foolish move and here the foolish is punished. As an idiot they will not survive the ordeals of the heavens and die an unexpected and horrible death under the gaze of the heaven. After all the heaven is cruel and uncaring, when you are in danger it will not save you, when you are foolish it will punish you.
Who knows when there will be a moment when you say something foolish that will reveal a weakness about you? What if the enemy used some special method to hear it, to hear the information. This world is the heaven and the heaven is vast and limitless there is nothing that can't be done under the heaven, what if they used divination talismans and found the secret, you will never know.
Enough with the rumbling, it's time to develop my plan of attaining immortality, going step to step on the endless road of destiny, and achieve success in this world. I see my mother and I giggle with a happy face, she is also very happy judging by her beaming smile.
