Chapter 31: Team
After the disaster of Eriskine's death without the formula for the serum, it was impossible for others to create a serum with the current knowledge known to the world. Colonel Phillips was disappointed in Steve as he never saw him capable to fight a war and ordered him to continue to be the lab rat he is. Taking this as an opportunity Senator proposed to use Steve as a symbol of peace a Hero to gather War funds and to increase the enlistments. When Colonel was about to agree I interrupted him.
Ryan: I'm sorry to inform you this Senator but now that the experiment is completed Steve has become a soldier under America and his command is under the General and he has already given me an order to form a new team with the super soldier and others.
Colonel Phillips: What are you saying, Ryan?
Ryan: I'm sorry Colonel I didn't inform you earlier. The General has not only promoted me but has given me the task to destroy the newly formed army of Hydra that is under the command of Schmidit. Here is the order for the transfer of Steve under my command.
I handed him a letter from the General stating the orders. With my merits, I can be promoted to Colonel rank but I exchanged it for this order.
Ryan: Now that everything is done. I'll soon be heading back to the battlefield and creating my own team from scratch.
Telling them that I left the place with Steve following me. I met up with Peggy and Lorraine and headed back to base for a small talk and then travel back to the battlefield.
A week later the four of us reached the base and met with the General and caught up with the things that had happened in the field. It seems that Bucky and others had already been taken captive to be experimented on by Dr. Zola. I told him my strategy and future actions and to head to the battlefield day after tomorrow after everyone gets geared up and ready.
That night after having an intense battle with both Peggy and Lorraine I flew to the sky from a place where no one could see. I flew above the clouds heading to Chaves, Portugal to find something that will play a big role in the future events of SHIELD. The item has yet to be found since it's not yet 1945. I am just going to copy it and leave one there as it is to not disturb the plot. After a few minutes, I reached the place and found the item easily with my X-ray eyes. It was funny how easily I found it considering how long people searched for it. By now you should have known what is it that I am looking for it's the Diviner or popularly known as the Obelisk which stores the Terrigen Crystals which are used to stimulate the inhuman gene. I dug out the Obelisk and the moment I touched it it glowed with red lines showing that I myself have some alien genes. I wonder what power I would get. With amazement, I put in my system space and used infinity on it and put back one Obelisk, and closed the place as it used to be. Keeping my curiosity aside I flew back to camp to try this later when I'm free.
Reaching back to base I took Carter and Lorraine into System Space where I had given them super soldier serum and used my stored solar energy to power the hungry cells. After a few minutes, both of them had quite the changes in their physique not too bulky but were athletic enough and looked pretty good. Lorraine changed very much becoming fit from thin seeing her reminded me of Natalie Dormer in Hunger Games. Seeing me in my thoughts she came to me and asked lovingly hugging me. So I told her now that she has become even more beautiful and if she were to shave one side of her head with tattoo's on it she would look more warrior-like and give her a tough girl look which she lacks, unlike Peggy who doesn't need any changes.
The next day when we were getting ready Steve walked in wearing his iconic suit. I find it amusing how the plot corrects itself. Due to my intervention, Steve got his shield early from Howard. Lorraine has shaved one side of her head and has tattoos on it just like the character in Hunger Games. Peggy wore a similar battle suit to Lorraine and we were good to go only waiting for night to fall.
By the way, forgot to tell you both Peggy and Lorraine have become 20 times stronger than peak humans and with their fighting skills and experience they can easily destroy future Captain America without Mjlonir.
