Chapter 13: Efreit and the infinity palace
[The guild master's office]
"Hey, grandpa, I finished your quest!, I defeated the fire spirit." Elias said sitting on the free chair opposite the guild master. "Grandpa!!...(sighs)....So, where it it's core?" The guild master asked hoping to see the core of the high level fire spirit.
"Don't get me wrong, I defeated it... but that didn't mean I killed it... I tamed it as a summon.!" Elias said in a care free tone but still had a hint of sincerity.
"You did what!!, Tamed an S+ rank fire spirit by yourself, for some reason I'm not a surprised as I should have... Can I please see your summon?" The guild master asked in curiosity as he agreed to show him, even he had not gotten a chance to see the spirit after he had tamed it. "Summon, Efreit!" Elias called out as a red magic circle appeared followed by Efreit emerging out of the magic circle.
"it looks magnificent!!" The guild master complemented while Elias just stood there with mouth opened. "He looks completely different!"...Some spirits have the ability to switch appearance similar to that of the tamer after it had been tamed, Efreit was completely different, instead of that titan humanoid structure he has a surprisingly handsome demi human body.
He had a normal human structure with red long hairs, crimson red pupils, light complexion and an average height of 5'7ft, He also had this calm composure wearing a full red leather amour and silver metal guards and a strange flame symbol on his fore head.
"Master you summoned." Efreit said while bowing the knight styles as he knelt with one foot placing one of his hand on the ground with the other resting horizontal on the crotched leg while bowing his head downwards.
"He looks completely different than before!" Elias highlighted in confusion as he stared unrestrainedly at Efreit. "The answer is quite simple, due to my high level bloodline and your powerful mana I was able to undergo a soul shift, I had undergone a Metamorphosis changing my race to path human and path spirit, originally there was some complications with the metamorphosis but at the end I survived for some reason...
Thanks to you I have grown incredibly stronger than I could have ever been, for that I'm completely yours to use forever!" Efreit said with a calm composed voice as Elias and the guild master was completely shocked to the extent they were almost petrified.
"Efreit right!, there's only one question I have, it's been really bothering me...no to be blunt um curious, do all the spirits live in this earth?" Elias asked a quite reasonable question that no human known the answer to.
"Normally I shouldn't tell you, but I'm longer bounded by the rules.....All spirits live in a place cut out from the rest of the world....The infinity palace....At times lesser spirit tend to find their way out of the palace due to their weak bloodline....put it in simpler terms, they're regarded as commoners while the infinity palace as a palace, so the commoners don't have the restrictions and benefits from the infinity palace....But higher bloodline spirit such as my self can leave the infinity palace at will or at least certain conditions must be met, there's a time limit to when higher spirits can leave the infinity palace and when the limits run out they suffer tribulations.
The only people who can freely leave the palace at will are the spirit kings, like my father Alfreit, or the wind spirit queen Remiris or other kings..... spirit kings are refered to the top person in each spirit race and they're eight of them in total. They're refered to as the octagon spirit kings forces capable of even defeating the seven demon lords. They are the ultimate spirit....but right now there's one who might have gotten to their level!" Efreit said raising his head, his eyes carried this look of supremacy lit with the fire of domination.
"When you speak of one, you mean your self Right?" Elias asked with certainty. "It turns out I may have accidentally reached the last stage of all spirits governed by the Infinity palace and that stage is King."
"That's great for you....and me, if that's all disappear!" Elias said dispelling the summoning magic which made Efreit to surely disappear leaving traces of pixel dust lingering in the air.
"Hey Elias, why the rude send off!" The guild master asked after seeing the manner in which Elias had sent it off. "Doubts...I have my doubts on Efreit, something is telling me there's something more to it that meets the eye....at first I had thought it was maybe loyalty but it's not..... it's something else...
There's a reason why he's just acting all calm and trust worthy.... I can tell.... when I looked it in the eye there was this vision I had, his eyes contain this selfish ambition that I could t quite comprehend, to put it in simpler terms he's something different now far different from just a normal spirit, I'll have to keep it in check." Elias said as he sat crossed legs.
"Oh Grandpa, one more thing, before I forget have you heard of the Crimson order?", Elias asked as immediately the guild master eyes opened in shock...."Negative zone!" The guild master mumbled as the room had this reflection of purple light. "What was that for..... for some reason I hat the sight of this magic." Elias said looking at the guild master in the eyes..
"If I don't do this they might here us!...Now where should I begin?"

prynex I've been busy for a while, there's a project I'm working on: animation to be precise. So I might not have the time to go through the novel for spelling error, so please bear with me and one more thing...I'll have to limit to zero to two chapters a day.
