Chapter 18: Unforseen events
"So, you want me to fight back or what?" Elias asked in pity for the arrogant noble. "Seeing I'm a generous noble, I'll give you a chance to fight back, but only if you have a summon, After all it would be more fun... You see summoners are master mages highly sort after, we summoners are very rate and powerful, so if you want the chance if protecting your self you should at least have a summon...But seeing how common you are it's highly impossible." The Noble said with a smile of mockery.
"Well if it's a fight you want than it's a fight you'll get, come forth Efreit!" Elias said as a summoning circle appeared on the ground as Efreit slowly rose from it. "You called for me master?".
"Impossible, what kind of summon Is that, it has a human figure but yet it isn't human, it's outstanding mana, impossible....not to mention it's a spirit... I want that summon for my self." Lord Aeris said to himself fortunately The sword saint(Erza) Was able to hear it, so she tried to warn Elias but was stopped by Lord Aeris. Everybody in the room began to talk about Elias summons as they found the air around being heated up by the raw mana of Efreit.
"Why don't we reconsider, come work for me as as an Aide and I'll give you money beyond your wildest dreams." The noble said with a shaking smile as he knew he had already lost the moment he saw Elias summon.
"Well you know that deal sounds nice, but you got it wrong, come work for me as a dog and I'll spare your life." Elias said with a grin and a feeling of superiority. "Now that's enough this is supposed to be a party not a place for violence." The sword saint said standing up from her chair. "Hey Erza long time no see?" Elias called out in a friendly manner which came as a surprise to everyone present including the sword saint.
"Now I remember! he was the person I met at the Dragon's gate inn, in glamour city of love. He was the one who gave me my amulet." The princess thought to her self looking at Elias as she held the purple amulet on her neck.
"You know this kid?" lord Aeris asked with a little bit of jealousy on his face. "Yes, I met him in glamour city of love not to long ago, he helped me with something really important." The sword saint said to lord Aeris who was s little bit angry.
"Now listen up people, why don't we resume our fun and end this conflict." Lord Aeris said walking up to Elias inviting him to come over to the high table. "You!" Elias said to himself as he looked at the princess, he would never forget that silky purple hair, purple pupils and busty chest with a curvy figure anywhere as he remembered she was the girl who came looking for her purple amulet.
"Wow, you have a really nice smell." The queen complemented looking at Elias who then thanked her and said he might consider sharing his secret. "Boy you seem a little bit full of yourself, but now that doesn't matter, how about you come work for me, give me you summon and I'll pay you six gold coins." lord Aeris offered but everywhere became silent for a while followed by a huge outburst of laughter. "oh of course, you think I'm a fool offering me six gold coins for my service and my summon.... do I look like someone whose that desperate for money?" Elias asked sitting crossed with leg crossed on the table.
"How arrogant, tell me who invited a scum like you?" Lord Aeris shouted in fury as everywhere was silent, just as the sword saint was about to say she did, a soft feminine voice was heard, and to the surprise of everyone it was the princess. "I did, do you have a problem with that Mr Aeris?" The princess asked as lord Aeris replied saying Certainly not.
"Hey it's you, I didn't know you where a princess!" Elias said bowing. "This is your first time here, let me show you around...You all can enjoy the party." The princess said holding Elias in her arm walking to the garden of the palace. "You smell lovely!" The princess complimented as Elias smiled. "Well it's a little invention of mine, you can tell your mother I'm interested in doing business tomorrow." Elias said to the princess who was amazed at his courage.
"I love your boldness and all but lord Aeris is not a man you want to mess with." The princess warned as Elias just pretended to listen. Your summon, it's a fire spirit isn't it?" The princess asked with a voice of certainty as Elias nodded in agreement. "I think things has settled down inside, let's go back.' The princess said as Elias held her hand which caught her by surprise. "Thank you for what you did back there..." Elias said with a handsome smile which made the princess blush. "It's alright, I was just repaying the debt I owed you when you gave me my amulet." The princess said with a shaking voice as she tried to hide her shyness with a serious expression.
"Why I'm I having this feeling in my heart, anytime I look at him, there's this feeling in my chest, I haven't felt it before...I can't explain it with words and for some reason I choose not to embrace that feeling to reality." The princess thought to herself as she walked alongside Elias back to the palace.
"Princess, I was wandering where you went, the king wishes to speak to you." lord Aeris said with a tone of respect as he bowed down slightly.

As the party continued Elias and lilly went back to having fun as they danced with joy on their faces. "Enhance senses," Elias said sharpening his eyes and hearing as he listened to the prince and the king.
"Father I'm sorry but I just can't, I'll become a Valkyrie to the master I choose, what is it with lord Aeris anyways, he's already forcefully marrying the sword saint now you want to make him my master, I told you I'm an independent woman, and I'll also remain that way, just because I'm a Valkyrie doesn't mean I'll have to rely on a man to get stronger. I'm okay the way I am, I'm already strong just the way I am." The princess said in frustration.
"But you know Lord Aeris isn't any man, he's strong, handsome, wealthy and has a high status as well as influence in political aspect." The king said to the princess who was really disappointed at her Father, Elias could spot the grin on the face of Lord Aeris. "I'm done with this guy, I can't stand him anymore, his disgusting grin." Elias said with an angry look on his face. "Hey Elias, is anything bothering you?" Lilly asked as immediately Lord Aeris looked at the direction of Elias. "Did she just call him Elias?"
