Chapter 15: Bigger Problem
The name 'Acid Rat' was gotten from the fact that the beasts most useful and powerful skill was that they had acid in their mouth as a form of saliva.
Blake looked at his right elbow and saw that it looked peeled off a bit thanks to some of the rats.

"Looks like it was worth it" said Blake after seeing the last message.
"Totally worth almost dying for" said Fury sarcastically.
When Blake heard Fury's voice he quickly realised that due to his battle instincts kicking in, Fury had remained silent all this while as if he wanted Blake to die and the latter didn't notice.
"You piece of shit!" yelled Blake as he let Fury out of him and said "You couldn't even offer me advice or come out to help me but you just stayed inside and didn't say a word.
If I hadn't figured out how to defeat them I would be dead by now".
"I wanted to see how you would fare in a situation where you are outnumbered and can't do anything" said Fury not bothered by Blake's yelling. He then looked towards a certain direction before saying "besides you still have to fight against their leader".
Silence
Total silence ensued as Blake didn't say a word. After a few seconds, Blake finally asked in a wary tone "What do you mean by their leader?"
"What I mean is that don't you think it's weird for all these low levelled creatures to suddenly gain intelligence and start working together?"
When Fury asked this question, Blake was about to scoff but suddenly started to think on it.
All the rats were too low levelled indeed as the highest rat was level 19 while the weakest were level 10 so for them to suddenly team up instead of hunting by themselves was really abnormal.
Fury noticing Blake being quiet decided to continue "Either they were lured towards you or someone/something even more powerful than them was controlling you them but I would go with the latter".
"So even if someone or something was controlling them how do we find them?" queried Blake.
"We follow their trail" said Fury as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"What trail?" asked Blake still confused.
Fury then looked towards the place where the army of rats had come from as they left a trail of acid wherever they went.
Sigh
"What's the worst that could happen" said Blake as he and Fury started following the acid trail.
Five minutes later.
Blake and Fury arrived in front of a dark cave. They had been following the acid trail for five minutes and when they decided to give up, they found this cave at the end of the trail which still kept going into the cave.
"Oh well, we've come this far to turn back now" said Blake and proceeded to enter the cave.
The cave was really dark as even Blake couldn't see anything in this darkness luckily, he had a Commander 3 wolf with him so Fury was like his torch telling him where to go.
The cave was also very quiet as the only sound that was made was the sound of footsteps and the occasional sizzling of the wall or the ground due to the acid that was put there.
After walking for some time, Blake and Fury finally saw light on the other end of the cave and got ready to fight.
They approached with steady steps but when they came within a hundred meter close to the light, they were shocked beyond words as a pool of acid that was really wide was separating them from the other side and on the other side of the pool of acid was... an incredibly giant rat.
