Chapter 6: Tricky System

As many as six billion earthlings transmigrated to another world, the Lord Continent.

In addition, it is certain that only humans who have become adults can become players.

From eighteen to fifty years old.

It also seemed that every human who came was equipped with a talent by the system.

"These points of information are already valid, I can guarantee this with my life."

"What is the connection between the system and the world will? Then why do all humans become players?"

The more Alex thought about it, the more confused he became.

Sitting in a chair in his manor, Alex stared blankly in front of him. If anyone saw him, they would probably think he was daydreaming.

However, what Alex was doing right now was looking for information about the system.

He felt that everything the system had done so far seemed like a mechanical robot designed only to do what was programmed.

'System, system' while turning his head up Alex thought back to what the system had done before.

"I'm 80% sure that this system is a mindless system. It can't make its own decisions, it just does whatever it's programmed to do."

After observing and studying the information available in the chatroom, both regional chat and world chat. Alex also got information about the power levels in this world.

Power level or Tier starts from Black Iron which is the weakest, then Bronze, Silver, and Gold. That's the only information available in the chat.

Alex recalled the conversation that took place in the world chat.

<Lord No.62835262> : "Hey, has anyone tried summoning hero units?"

<Lord No.252726254> : "I want to know too, boss, please let us know."

<Lord No.2525141> : "I've tried it, right now I'm chatting with a bronze tier Barbarian, he's very strong and can break a tree three times my size with just a hug."

<Lord No.6282525> : "I'm the same, I managed to summon a silver tier elf archer, but why does she see me as something disgusting?"

<Lord No.527255> : "Lol lol maybe he saw your lecherous face? I only managed to summon Iron Tier orc, he smell stinks. I heard in the regional chat, someone managed to summon a Gold Tier Cavalry hero."

<Lord No.5262526> : "Hey, I'm so jealous of him."

'That's very strange, then what about Gawain who has the Emerald Tier'

There was no further information about the tiers discussed in the chat. It was as if they agreed that the Gold Tier was the strongest that they all believed in.

"Is it possible that some of them have hero units above the gold tier but they choose to keep quiet" still unsure of the information at hand so he went back to thinking about the power that Gawain had.

'I think Gawain has power above Gold Tier, but how many levels above? I don't know yet.'

"Damn, so little information is known," then smacked his palm against the table.

'Hiss, that hurts' as he rubbed his reddened right palm, then recalled the important things he had missed.

'Never think that the world we live in now is like playing video games'

'There may be some elements that make this world look like a video game or rather a semi-rpg. But you can be sure that this world is real' Alex warned himself again.

"Heh, those shallow-minded fools," as he rasied the corner of his lips.

"Treating the real world like a video game, and treating the hero units and residents who come over like slaves. No wonder you ended up badly."

Standing up from the chair, and moving his body that was stiff from sitting on the chair for too long.

From the window inside the manor, the sky was visible as the evening sky began to turn reddish. Clouds were clumped together in the sky. There was not a glimmer of pollution that he could see, indicating how virgin this world was from the greedy hands of humans like it was different from the world he lived in before.

'What a beautiful world'

After admiring the evening sky briefly, the man walked towards the door, aiming to exit the manor.

He wanted to try out the information he had analyzed, especially the important information that he did not know before and that he had missed.

The information explains that in order to see a detailed description of something, one must focus one's eyes for ten seconds. This applies to everything in this world.

'How could I have missed this kind of information'

Alex arrived in front of the Lord Manor and stared at the building before him. Sure enough, after ten seconds of staring at what was in front of him a golden panel appeared with a notification sound typical of the system.

[Building name: The Lord's Wooden Manor]

[Territory Level: Black Iron Tier]

[Building Effect: As a place where the lord lives, and is the core part of the lord's territory.]

[Building Upgrade: 100 units of wood, 100 units of iron ore, 100 units of stone, 100 units of sand]

"Ooh, it worked"

'If no one discovers this information then all progress will be severely hampered. This system is really insidious'

'Who would have thought that the finer details of system explanation would require ten seconds of eye contact'

"I'll try it later on Gawain, Rookie Militias and Farmers," to find out their details that I don't know yet.

Alex focused his gaze on the important place in front of him.

'So all this time the name of the building in front of me was Lord's Wooden Manor'

"Manor, huh, more like a hut"

In front of him was a building with an area of 10m x 10m, where the main part was made of wood, with the roof covered with straw and dry wood. When viewed from the front, it resembles houses commonly built in the countryside.

Inside, there is only furniture made of wood. There was only a bed, a table and a chair that he had just sat on.

Successful with his experiment, Alex took a leisurely stroll while monitoring the farmers who were working diligently.

Curious about the situation at the boundary of his territory, he walked carefully. As he approached the boundary, the bushes and forest were dimly lit despite the sun's rays.

As he looked at the scene in front of him, there was a feeling of fear of the unknown.

Turning his gaze away, he hurried back the other way. Just as he had taken less than ten steps, there was a noise from behind him.

Alex froze for a moment, turned around quickly and prepared to face any enemy that might be in front of him.

As he waited for the sound of something large being dragged and many steps to be heard. He was already positioning himself to be the first to attack.

Until he saw the blonde hair and golden eyes of the knight coming out slowly from the bushes while pulling something that looked like a giant boar followed by the Rookie Militia dragging the bodies of the monsters they were hunting.

"My lord, have you been waiting for us all this time?"

Alex was stunned for a moment as he smiled at them.

"Welcome back."
