Synopsis
Kennedy James is drowning in financial debt when she is offered a job with the famous Massi family. Her world is tested when she meets the son of the company, Lucas, and is hired on the spot. The shroud of paranormal that surrounds New Orleans makes it a perfect city for Lucas to camouflage, as he is not only the son of one of the most influential mafia leaders, but the son of a werewolf alpha. Their growing attraction is all consuming, but the dangers that they face every day put Kennedy’s career and life at risk. Will Lucas be Kennedy’s salvation or her demise?
Bracing myself for a transparent figure, I was instead met with glowing blue eyes. Eyes that reminded me of the blue waters of the coasts of Florida, they were paired with a predatory gaze. A wolf was the first thing I was able to think of, wild, untamable, and vicious.

Great short Herero shifter read! I hope this is one in a series but as a one shot it works too!
loved the story line. just wish there was more. I want to here how things turn out with Hannah .and Titus over in Italy along with more on Kennedy and Lucas.

I love this author, so I was so excited for new book and totally different from her others! This supernatural romance has me on the hook, I hope we get a seris out of it! Another winner for PJ Bailey!
This book was a very enjoyable to read. The flow was nice and the character development was spot on. I really enjoyed the concept of the book and the location was excellent. It was easy to put my self in the middle of the scenes. I like how the author completed the story but also left it open for future books. Maybe we can get a series out of it. I really hope to see more from this author.
