Chapter 8: Chapter 8 : Crowley Eusford
After rescuing the humans and returning them to the temporary base, Shinoa's group begins heading towards Shinjuku, where the main battle will take place.
After walking for a while, Kimizuki finds a car that might work, so everyone stops to eat while Kimizuki makes sure the car works.
While the others were sitting and eating canned food, Arata was sitting on the roof of a nearby building eating hot ramen.
The presence of the Inventory was very cool and kept the food as it was when it was put in, which is why Arata would often put hot food in it.
While eating, he was trying to manipulate the Black Flame and try to shape it into shapes.
Arata successfully hardened the Black Flame into spears and swords which was relatively easy and tried to create a lotus like the Buddha's own Wrath Lotus by Xiao Yan.
Although it required a lot of concentration, he managed to form the Black Flame as a lotus.
"Let's see the use of these pills" - murmured Arata and took out the pills that hasten his advance to Namanari from Inventory and swallowed one without hesitation.

Upon swallowing the pills, Arata's appearance changed, and soon Cursed marks appeared all over his body, and two prominent horns appeared on his head, like those of Benimaru.
This was Arata's Namanari form but soon the Cursed Flags and Horns disappeared and Arata returned to his normal form.
"Not bad" - murmured Arata as he clenched his fist to feel his new strength as he felt his strength jumped in quality and he felt like he could defeat himself just now without much effort.
"With my current strength, I can kill ancestors of Vampires from 20 to 15 without a problem. If the ancestor is 14 or higher, I won't be able to kill him. I'll have to retreat. As for ancestors from number 10 and above, there's a high chance of being captured by them." Arata murmured as he estimated his current strength.
After living in this world and focusing on surviving, Arata forgot a lot of things, so this was just a rough guess and he didn't really know if his strength was what he said or not.
"It's time to go" - murmured Arata upon seeing Shinoa beat up Yuu and Kimizuki with blue and black.
After Shinoa hits for Yuu and Kimizuki, everyone gets in the car and starts moving towards Shinjuku.
"For some reason I'm worried" - murmured Arata, feeling that he had forgotten something very important.
Arata closed his eyes and tried to review his memories to see if he knew what he had forgotten, but unfortunately he couldn't remember.
Booom*
"Kimizuki, hurry up. Looks like the Vampires are attacking Shinjiku," said Arata upon hearing the sound of explosions coming from Shinjuku's direction.
Unlike the others in the group, Arata had extremely sharp senses, which is why he could hear the sound of explosions from Shinjuku more than 2 km away.
But the downside was that other sounds were covered up because of the loud sound of explosions.
"Sure." Kimizuki nodded and stepped on the gas, causing the car to speed up abruptly.
Fortunately, Shinjuku wasn't too far away from them, and with the speed of the car, they were able to arrive in five minutes.
"After this turn, we will reach the second line of defense," Kimizuki said, clearly implying that everyone should prepare for battle.
After speaking, Kimizuki noticed a red-haired person walking in the middle of the road and he was wearing luxurious clothes and wanted to stop so as not to run over him.
"Don't stop Kimizuki he's noble, keep going and run over him" - Yuu said quickly upon noticing the man's clothes.
"!!!" Hearing Yuu's words, Arata remembered what he had done and cursed himself for forgetting this.
The person in front of them was Progenitor 13 Crowley Eusford who is Ferid Bathory's friend and his real rank was that he was Progenitor 7 and he had faked his rank.
"Everyone, prepare to retreat." Arata commanded and made wings with his Black Flame and flew into the sky as everyone jumped out of the car.
Although the car was heading towards the car at great speed, Crowley remained calm and extended his hand in front of him to stop the car.
Booooom*
The car collided with Crowley's hand, crushing the car, and nothing happened for Crowley.
Seeing this, Arata wasted no time and made spears out of Black Flame and attacked Crowley with them, then made a giant arm and grabbed Yuu and the others with it.
"We're going to run!!" - Arata shouted at Yuu and the others and flew them into the sky.
"Interesting." Crowley muttered and dodged the spears made of Black Flame as he felt too threatened by them.
"What are you doing Arata!!" - Yuu shouted angrily after breaking out of the shock.
"Isn't it obvious from sight, we'll run away from that monster" - Arata shouted, not paying attention to Yuu, and flew towards Shinjuku at full speed.
"It's mean to call me a monster," said Crowley, who was next to Arata in the sky, and punched him with great force.
Arata was surprised when Crowley arrived at his side and quickly protected himself with his wings.
"Arrrgh!!" - Arata screamed in pain as Crowley's fist crushed his ribcage.
"Arata-kun/san" - x 5
Everyone cheered in concern when they saw Arata vomiting large amounts of blood.
"I'm fine," Arata said, and dozens of swords and spears made of Black Flame soon appeared beside him.
"You died!!" - exclaimed Arata and unleashed a volley of attacks on the injured Crowley.
Right when attacking Arata Crowley's left hand became useless due to Cursed in flames as well as Black Flame's destructive nature.
"It looks a little bad," Crowley muttered, avoiding the barrage of attacks and not even trying to counter them, because he had learned his lesson moments ago.
Seeing that Crowley was busy avoiding his attack, Arata didn't hesitate to fly higher since Crowley couldn't fly, but jumped to reach them.
After rising to a certain level, Arata started to fly toward the second line of defense.
"I wonder what that flame is," Crowley murmured curiously as he saw the Black Flame burning his left hand that didn't seem to stop.
Seeing the Black Flame expand into his shoulder, Crowley didn't hesitate to sever his arm.
"People in this age are very dangerous," murmured Crowley at the sight of his arm, which was burnt to ashes.
"Looks like I should go back and recondition my arm before I go to the front line," Crowley murmured and hid from the scene to go regenerate his arm at the facility.
