Chapter 76: Chapter 76 : Otaku games

main gate .

"Excuse me for being late," Arata said as he exited a magic circle. He copied the wizard's magic that transported them here from the Holy Empire Ruberios.

Arata had to admit that this magic was very useful as it allowed him to move around freely.

"It's okay since I didn't wait long." Shizu shook her head with a slight smile.

"Then let's go since there isn't much time," Shizu said as she rushed towards the Great Jura Forest with Arata by her side.

Even though Shizu had higher stats than Arata, Arata was using all his magic power to enhance his body as he was able to easily keep up with Shizu's speed, which was faster than their pace towards the Great Jura Forest.

_

Great Jura Forest.

It took a little more than a week to get here from Blumund, as the distance was very far. In addition, with Shizu's condition, it was difficult for them to travel constantly and they had to stop every now and then to rest.

Seeing this, Arata's compassion for Shizu increased, and he felt a strange feeling of anger upon seeing how she was in pain. He decided to help her, but he did not know how to open the topic since he and Shizu were strangers who had only met a few days ago.

"Kyyyyya!!" Arata and Shizu heard a girl scream from nearby and the two quickly noticed a group of three people running away from a horde of giant ants.

"This is bad, we have to help them." Shizu murmured worriedly and wanted to rush to save the three people, but Arata stopped her.

"Wait, I will take care of it... The giant ant is a rank C monster, but according to the classification of the Free Guild, this group of ants is ranked as rank B, so I will meet the conditions for obtaining rank A." - Arata said, staring at the group of ants, and added before rushing off - "Plus, if you fight, your condition will get worse."

"..." - Shizu was surprised for a moment before smiling sarcastically as she did not expect a child like Arata to worry about her, but she obediently listened to him and put her sword back into its sheath.

Arata rushed towards the group of ants, covered his hands with Black Flame, and entered into close combat with the group of ants.

Boom*

Without hesitation, Arata punched the ground, causing the group of ants to be pushed back while the three adventurers were thrown towards Shizu.

"Let's play a little…" Arata said with a smile, as this was not a fight for him, but an opportunity to release his frustration accumulated over the past few days.

"..." - The ants stared at Arata and felt afraid of him, but they did not dare to run away, as once they turned their backs on him, they were sure that they would die, so they were left with no choice but to resist, even if they knew that it was useless.

Without hesitation, Arata rushed towards the nearest giant ant and punched it with enough force to push it back.

Crack*

The giant ant was known for its toughness, but its outer armor was easily cracked by a single blow from Arata. In addition, a small amount of Black Flame seeped into the giant ant's flesh, causing it tremendous pain but did not cause much damage.

"Skrrrry!" - The giant ant screamed in pain and anger and rushed towards Arata with the other ants.

Upon seeing this, Arata's smile widened and he began to fight against the group of giant ants with a fearless smile.

Booooom*

Boom*

Ting*

Soon, I heard the sounds of explosions and the collision of metal, and their sound echoed throughout the surrounding area.

"Amazing..." - A blond man from the adventurer group murmured as he stared at Arata fighting with the group of ants.

"He's playing with a group of giant ants," the other man murmured, speechless at the sight before him.

"He seems to be angry about something..." The blonde girl murmured as she could sense the anger behind Arata's smile.

As an Elves, the girl was very sensitive to feelings, which is why she could easily sense the feelings hidden behind that smile, and she was confused about it, as the anger behind that smile was just pure and simple anger due to helplessness.

But this confused her even more, as she did not know the reason for the helplessness of the person in front of her with all this power that he possessed.

While the girl was confused, the battle between Arata and the group of giant ants soon ended, as the ants were torn to pieces by Arata's hands.

"Is that enough?" Arata asked as he walked back to Shizu and the group of adventurers.

"Yes," Shizu nodded without hesitation, since with Arata's strength he was well deserving of an A-rank. "When I return to Ingrassia, I will report this matter to the Grandmaster."

Despite saying this, Shizu was not sure that she would be able to return from this trip alive, so she was going to write a letter and send it to Yuuki to inform him about Arata's promotion.

"Okay" - Arata nodded before looking at a certain place - "Shouldn't you have seen enough? How about we go out now?"

Upon hearing Arata, the crowd quickly looked to where he was looking as a blue Slime jumped out of nowhere and appeared in front of them.

"Ha-ha-ha, I feel shy, but I missed the opportunity to appear, so I stayed where I was." - The Slime said awkwardly, rubbing his head? .

"Slime?" The blond adventurer murmured in confusion upon seeing the speaking spherical figure.

"Do you have a problem with Slime?" - The blue ball asked sharply as he did not like the other party's expression.

"No, but I was surprised to see Slime talking." The blond adventurer shook his head quickly as he felt that he had disturbed the other party.

"I'm not a bad slime," the blue ball said cheerfully as he noticed how the atmosphere had become a bit tense due to the harshness of his previous words.

"pftttt" - Shizu couldn't control her laughter as she recognized the meaning behind the blue ball's words.

"Otaku games" - Arata murmured when he heard the words Blue Ball or Rimuru, as this was the first time he had seen an otaku games at the age of thirty.

"..." - Rimuru was surprised for a moment, as he did not expect to find two people from his homeland so quickly - "This is not a suitable place to talk, so how about we go to my village so we can talk?"

Rimuru did not want to miss this opportunity to talk to people from his hometown, so he did not hesitate to invite them to his village.

"Sure." Arata nodded and looked at Shizu. "You don't mind either, right?"

"..." - Shizu nodded towards Arata and did not say anything as she was just curious about someone from the same world as her.

"What about you guys?" Rimuru asked as he stared at the group of adventurers with Arata and Shizu.

"..." - The blond adventurer was silent for a while before nodding his head. He was very tired from running away from the giant ants for three straight days and wanted to rest. It seemed that this Slime had no ill will towards them.

"Then let's go!" - Rimuru exclaimed excitedly and quickly started jumping towards the direction of the village with Arata and the others behind him.
