Chapter 3: situation
Then we started eating our breakfast..and i can clearly see my little bunny enjoying his strawberry milk shake..he looks cute , when I look at ethan he was eating his pancakes,he looked kinda funny with chocolate staining his face mostly around his lips ,I was about to wipe his face with tissue when suddenly butler come " your highness,her highness jade is not feeling well " hearing this my father face turned sour but it's hard for others to see as he always have this emotionless face "quickly go call the physician" after saying this he left without hearing Butler's reply. *Sign*
We all also followed behind him when we saw him standing in front of my step mother's room .i looked at him and he replied like he knew what I wanted to ask "physician is already in the room taking care of your mother' hearing him my heart grew more cold *mother ,when did i agreed to him being my mother *
Apollo pov
Hearing me my lil rose face expression got cold ,i know he hate jade and to be honest I can't even blame him for this ,it was my fault in the first place if only I was careful but now jade is the royal grand Duchess and no one can change this fact ...i turned my head towards destiny he looks scared hearing all the painful voices..." Tiny are you okay lil one".
"Umm .i..I am" he replied I know he is lying but I didn't said anything..I just started caressing his head slowly..soon his expression softened.
After some time butler came asking if we would like to wait for the physician to come out in the rest chamber which I declined but I told him to take the kids to rest, seeing it will take some time before physician comes out to explain the situation
After almost five and half an hour the physician came out.."what's the situation?" I asked " her highness is alright, it was only blood discharge and some contractions but before mid night the baby should be born..till then we will have to keep him under observation " she replied with neutral expression. I signed in relief "you should take rest till then since it's going to be some time before the baby is born and i am sure you didn't had your breakfast, butler set the table we will be having our lunch together with our guests " I said instructing the butler who bowed before leaving to inform the Chef and the maids, then I looked at the physician who expressed her appreciation for the offer and finally I decided to ask a maid to take her to guest chamber, she must be tired
After that i decided to head to the rest chamber there i saw my three little lions , tiny sleeping with his head on rose lap and my third child was sleeping with his head on Ambrose shoulder..i know he just don't show it but he loves ethan too .. otherwise why would he let him sleep with his head on his shoulder , he looked at me and I simply decided to ask " you are not tired?" He replied with no expression' on his face."no I am alright" seeing him like this..i just signed " they need to wake up it's lunch time" he just looked past me and hummed in agreement.
Ambrose pov
I woke ethan and destiny up .they look grumpy but not my fault they need to eat to recharge the energy they spent on disturbing my peace.. "brother.." destiny said when he didn't got any reply from me he took my face in his hands and showed a funny expression..i really wanted to laugh but my teacher said i should always keep an expressionless face..so I forced myself to keep my expression neutral...but then he showed a beautiful smile same as my beautiful mother and i just couldn't stop myself from smiling even when it goes against my teaching..." I knew it whenever I smile, you smile ..is it because destiny is cute" he asked " no ,it's because destiny smile is too precious for me or anyone to ignore "hearing this his smile widened...then i heard ethan calling my name i looked at him as to show i am listening.."brother then..what about ethan , why brother don't smile at ethan .is ethan not precious?" I know his mother fault doesn't lies with him, he is just a child..i signed " ethan is also ..cute" I said and he smiled cutely..i didn't lie he is really cute ..like a little cute chubby bear..but his smile reminds me of that person who took my mother's place...so not to show my cold expression to him i looked at my father..the man who was looking at us interestingly...*how can he look expressionless and cold at every situation.i should learn from him i am still too soft*
"No you are not soft my little rose you are a kid and you can show your feelings " hearing him say this my eyes widen * can he read my mind* " no I can't read your mind my lil dragon, I just know you more than enough to know what you are thinking " " no you don't "I said angrily and all he did was sigh sadly..but I wanted him to scold me , to tell me he hates me and my behaviour is not acceptable..I want him to shout at me or hit me so I have a reason to hate him ..but he did nothing and i still have this hateful feeling for him . I wanna shout at him and asks him why he's again having a child with that person who replaced my mother..why a child again , a child that shows he accepted him and now he's moving on from my mother...but I did nothing i just stood there looking at him angrily..till destiny came and hug me asking if I was angry." Brother are you angry at dadda". " No " was the only word i could utter.
Soon silence followed and we all sat together till the butler came informing us that lunch was already set on the table and we should be heading to the dining room ."sorry my little rose" was his words when he left followed by destiny and ethan while I alone stood in the rest chamber until the butler make me realise where I was * sorry means nothing you betrayer* i thought and followed them to dining room..
There was already someone sitting..seeing us she stood up " good afternoon his highnesses" we accepted her greetings and asked her to sit down and we all ate our lunch in silence while father asked her some questions related to my step mother's situation...
