The falling river village, was a dozen years ago a piece of land atop a mountain with rivers falling into the nearby lush green meadows.
Solomon choose this land inside Rommel Empire territory as a resting point and as an operational point for his trading organization, for him and his family, after the tiresome years of fighting to achieve mid-level magi. If Solomon didn't fight for resources he wouldn't have achieved mid-level within a ridiculous few dozen years worth of life span. As this is a ridiculous feat among the human magi, unless one had a special constitution, powerful backing or maybe even a favored son of the heavens.
Solomon gave the space pouch to naj, the one that contained the legacy of his ancestors of the Haste family and that of the mid-level magi, when naji achieved eight years of age.
Solomon discovered that naj's father was given the pouch and some of the items behind when he was performing the noble duties that came with the noble status. But he theorized that he claimed most while raiding the enemy's treasury.
The legacy was contained in a space pouch, and the space pouch contained the following:
-two books
-a number of magic scrolls
- a pouch of gold
-an artifact
-a high quality sword
-a low quality space ring
-a painting
Well the items were cramped as the space pouch was of the lowest capacity and quality possible to craft nowadays. The first book contained the [roaring thunder sword technique] and the [eccentric thunder breathing tactic] which were both compatible. This were both trained by generations upon generations of naj`s ancestors, and so it was compatible with naj`s genes.
The second book contained [spring mountain breeze breathing tactic] and various other sword and movement techniques, as well as mana related skills. Naj found an entire chapter of the book talking about learning about sword basics and basic stances as well as a few advanced moves and advice about the way of the sword. And what was even more interestimg is cool tricks and skills among the magi.
The gold pouch contained 312 gold coins, which is a considerable sum even for low class noble families.
The sword was an ordinary looking sword which was surprisingly made of high quality mortal grade metal, and it took the same quality of the metal.
The scrolls totaled a few dozen if counted:

The artifact was a silver colored ring, it`s main purpose was to increase mana capacity and help increase mana control. It also had hidden features like increasing the mana quality and calming the owner`s mind.
There are many details regarding artifacts, but naj knew a lot about his. The basic functions are:

The space ring was especially valuable, it had about thousand-meter cube in capacity.
Space rings are special among spatial items.
Naj had already bound both the space ring and the artifact {aurora ring} to his soul.
Though mage apprentices tend not to easily bind any item to the soul for various reasons such as most items strain the soul and the delicate process of binding and unbinding due to their lack of access to soul strengthening methods, those two items are valuable to naj and he decide to use bind on them so that he can use them. As such kind of magical items such as personal dimensional storage items or artifacts require binding the item in at least one form.
The world naj was reborn into was a world ruled by the strong. Empires and various organizations clashed to dominate.
There are countless paths to strength. But the most powerful and domineering path is said to be the magi path. Magi are domineering creatures holding immeasurable strength. A simple fireball can blow a swordmaster to ash.
A swordmaster's aura can only fade away in the face of mana.
Magi power ranking as far as naj has read so far is as following:
- apprentice mage (low-level magi) (3 stages)
- official mage (mid-level magi) (9 stages)
- official MAGUS (high-level magi) (unknown)
As for the knight power ranking:
- knight apprentice (body forging) (9 stages)
- official knight (aura and inner vigor uniting) (7 stages) (Master level in weapon proficiency, example: swordmaster)
- Grand Knight (unknown)
Naj found the number of magic scrolls stupidly large, but he found out that any stage 1 mage apprentice would master a dozen and practice or study a few dozen of magic scrolls.
The reason they were called magic scrolls is that they record magic regardless if it is a spell or whole other thing that can be a base of a spell or a possible modification or even a base of a formation or enchanting scroll or inscribed formations.
Grade of magic can range from numbers (grade 1, grade 4, grade…), to being accompanied or classified by characteristics or purpose or even origin (overcharged, holy, divine, curse, reverse, support, destruct, annihilate, seal, enchant…).
Naj after careful study of both books, found out that the first book is how to start training in the knight path, up to master achievement which is the first stage of being an official knight.
As for the second book although it contains how to cultivate inner vigor and several sword and movement techniques, the breathing tactic if slightly altered could be a mage breathing tactic to gather mana, as it seems it was built to give the combined benefits of both paths, knight and magi.
And as naj studied it further, it seemed like a mana gathering technique and up to mid-level magi path guide.
And naj hypothesized that the inner vigor and the access to the knight's path body forging and techniques is solely an extra feature.
But the breathing tactic [spring mountain breeze breathing tactic] if not applied with the logic of a magi apprentice, would serve as a knight's breathing tactic.
And with his uncle's help, he embarked on the path of power.
And so, naj is already a third stage knight apprentice and a first stage magi apprentice aka level 1 mage apprentice.
