Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Strange Mark
It's been two days since that Lucid dream had hit him. It was the way he wanted because from that day onwards Alex's life changed.
He wanted to go back to that dream and wanted to experience it again.
After a while, his best friend Daniel took him to the nearest lodge.
"What the matter bro, 'Daniel asked.'
"I can't believe I had another lucid dream That night," Alex said with a mix of excitement and confusion. "It felt so real like I was there. But at the same time, I knew I was dreaming and could control what happened. It's like my mind is playing tricks on me." Daniel listened intently, nodding in understanding. "Have you tried keeping a dream journal?" he suggested. "Writing down your dreams can help you better understand them and potentially even control them more." Alex considered this idea, feeling grateful for Daniel's support and insight.
"I don't care actually, you see that blonde-haired girl there?"
"Oh yeah, that girl who's wearing a pink top."
"That's her friend you idiot, that girl is beside her see?"
"Oh, that cutie?",'asked Alex"
"Yeah.",'Daniel said.'
"Bro you got no rizz man you ugly little..
[interrupting]"please please pleaseeeee" 'Daniel requested'
"Alright alright!
Alex approaches that girl.
"Hey, Just wanna say that you see that guy over there? he thinks that you're cute,'" he said, hoping that the girl would say Thank you and then finally he would set them both up but the scene was different,
The girl was flattered just after looking into the eyes of Alex.
She said that she's Ruby and she was in a hurry and gave her contact and just left the room.
Alex was so confused, that he went back to Daniel and gave the number.
He every day tries to Lucid dream but it doesn't work somehow.
He had to third-wheel every time on Daniel and Ruby's date on Daniel's request.
It's natural for people to develop feelings for others, and this was no different for the girl who found herself drawn to Alex. She couldn't help but like him, and the more she got to know him, the more her attraction grew. She found herself daydreaming about being with him and wondered if he felt the same way. She wanted to take things to the next level and hook up with him, but she was unsure if he felt the same way. Nonetheless, she couldn't help but hope that he felt the same way she did.
But the issue arises where she's acting like she wants to be Daniel's Girlfriend but it was just to see Alex and talk to him.
Soon Daniel understood the signs and left Ruby.
Then one day suddenly he saw that same wolf in the middle of the street.
He started to chase him, and at a turn, he vanished and saw Ruby passing by.
Ruby got excited and waved at him. when she waved at him Alex saw a
mysterious mark of the letter "Z".
"Hey!, It's been a while."Ruby said."
Alex held the arm of Ruby and said, "What is that."
"Oh, this right here?, this is the name of our family, the 'Zenos'," said Ruby"
"Do you know who's Maya?", asked Alex
"She was my sister, and how do you know about her? who told you?"Maya asked in a serious tone.
"What do you mean She was your sister?" asked Alex
"She was murdered Last year in the bank robbery and the murderers are still not captured."
Alex was shocked and confused. He thought not to tell her but to spend time with her to get to know abouther family and Maya.
"I was friends with Maya in Collage so from there we met and she also had this same tatto or whatever you may call it."(how the fuck i am so bad at telling lies!)"Alex Lied to Ruby but she fell for it.
"So, are you free tomorow coz i was thinking to grab some coffee or lets party or something, you know what i mean.(please god make it work!)"Alex said in the most casual manner.
"Sure,lets meet tomorrowat the old club we met last time."
