Chapter 41: Dinner party (7)

Grandpa and Diane are standing on the right side below the stage. 

Luke was at the tables entertaining guests together with his siblings and Diane's two sisters.

Lawrence held Little Snow in his arms as he made his way down. When Grandpa saw him, he gestured at him to come. 

Lawrence did not nod but he approached him anyway.

"Have Little Snow wear this for now." 

Grandpa took out a necklace from his pocket. It was a beautiful sapphire necklace, obviously custom made. 

Seeing this, Lawrence frowned. "Why?" 

 Grandpa did not answer. His sharp expression softened as Little Snow looked at him with huge round eyes. He approached Lawrence while holding the necklace. 

Lawrence stepped back, his face clearly saying he doesn't want to put strange jewelries to his precious cat.

"Come here stupid brat." Grandpa could not control his annoyance at this kid.
