Chapter 11: "T" What???

In the midst of thrilling adventures and daring escapes, Alexander had also found time to indulge in his latest fascination - designing drafts for his upcoming transformations. With a twinkle in his eye, he passionately poured his creativity onto the system, bringing his visions to life.

As he completed his first painting, a sly grin spread across his face. The artwork displayed his own hand, but not as anyone would recognize it. No, Alexander had magnified it to gargantuan proportions, adding a touch of ferocity and awe.

His palm seemed to have donned a fearsome boney shell, covered in wicked bone spurs that protruded like gleaming nails. He couldn't help but chuckle at the audacity of his design as he sketched those sharp, elongated fingers - now resembling dangerous hooks with a metallic glint.

What did he envision this transformation to be?

"Ah!" Alexander exclaimed playfully. "It's all about combining two essential qualities: steel and flexibility!" He nodded to himself, satisfied with his grand plan - forging a pair of hands with deadly steel claws!

The idea was inspired by none other than the legendary Wolverine's claws, and Alexander couldn't help but admire the sheer awesomeness of it all. However, he was realistic enough to know that he couldn't achieve the pinnacle of Adamantium in one swift leap. So, with a grin, he decided to start with the practical - ordinary steel.

"With these claws, I'll be unstoppable in combat! Now no ordinary demon will be able can stand in my way! And the best part? No need to worry about running out of ammo!" Alexander exclaimed.

But the fun didn't stop there! As his mind buzzed with excitement, Alexander delved into his second transformation plan - the pesky tail that seemed more of a hindrance than an asset. He couldn't resist a chuckle as he shared his thoughts.

"My tail, yeah, it's got to go through a makeover too! Can't have a flimsy, sensitive tail. So I will design a sleek, elongated tail that starts from my spine and gracefully extends, getting pointier and pointier, section by section. It's a tail that screams style and functionality!"

And that's not all. Alexander couldn't resist a mischievous grin as he planned about the tail's ultimate surprise.

"At the tip, I will designed three bone knives! Yep, they can open and close like magic. Handy for grabbing things when open, and when closed, they become a wicked, triangular blade that could pierce through anything!"

He made a gesture, as if demonstrating how he'd wield this extraordinary weapon.

According to Alexander's bold assumption, that elongated tail with its peculiar, captivating contours, seamlessly melds with his muscular physique, affording him a dash of dominion with an added dash of grimness. The result? A spine-tingling blade-like extension that screams power and authority.

But let's not mince words—Alexander is quite the attention seeker. In this bizarre realm where grotesque beings and monstrous oddities call home, the concept of 'face' isn't just skin deep. Oh no, it's about oozing strength, invoking terror, and emanating sheer dread. In this dark realm, if you're not giving off vibes of imminent doom, those everyday monsters might just queue up for a piece of you, challenge and all.

Fast forward to Alexander's transformation into a bona fide demon. Here, he's shedding human constraints like yesterday's news. Imagination takes the driver's seat as he goes all Picasso on his exterior, tweaking and tuning it at will.

Alexander isn't just satisfied with his tail's current look; he's downright smitten. He's got a tail checklist which he added as attributes to the system: [bone], [flexible], [regeneration], and [hard as steel]. It's like he's sculpting a tail masterpiece.

And just you wait, if his soul's got some juice left, Alexander's planning a tail upgrade to Adamantium. Who knew a tail could have such a steel-y ambition?

Then there's the third and final transformation idea. Alexander's brainstorming game is strong, and this time it's not just about a nip here and a tuck there; it's the big bang.

An injection gun takes the spotlight, with a test tube as its trusty sidekick. The tube's no ordinary tube. Its top and bottom shimmer in silver-white metal, while its midriff twists and twirls, two spirals dancing together. Oh, and there's a pop of blue inside—sound familiar? Alexander's daydreaming of none other than the [T virus]!

Now, before you jump the gun, this isn't a makeover for just a part of him—it's a full-body extravaganza. It's like he's throwing a transformation party and everyone's invited. In the guest list, you've got the T virus and the super soldier serum, both vying for a spot in the spotlight.

Thing is, Alexander's got some T virus déjà vu from movies, but the super soldier serum's a bit of a mystery. No worries though, Alexander can whip up an artistic test tube, throw in the serum, and voilà—an enhancer is born!

But here's the twist: conjuring up concepts from thin air might just be soul-sucking work. It's like cooking up a gourmet meal from scratch versus reheating leftovers—more effort, more soul juice.

So, after some mental gymnastics, Alexander gives the T virus a thumbs-up. It's got a defined aura, all about turbocharging genes and serving up a superhuman physique. Movies, TV, novels, games—all served as inspiration, and he's cooking up the most basic superpower soup.

But wait, there's a strategic move here. The T virus isn't just any virus—it's not afraid to flex its viral muscles, yet it's basic enough to play nice with Alexander's body.

But Alexander found himself facing an intriguing challenge. With the T virus at hand, he could potentially become stronger and even gain superpowers. But there were concerns about its stability and whether his demon body could handle it.

So, he cleverly devised two additional definitions for the T virus, labeling them as [Perfect Fusion] and [No Side Effects]. With these, he could boldly embrace the transformation without the fear of turning into a zombie.

Excitedly, Alexander now had three transformation schemes, each with its own allure. He had three pictures, representing the transformations of his hands, tail, and the T virus, and three materials to test them out. His collection of souls included his own demon soul and the souls of four monsters – each unique and "complete and inferior" in their own way.

As he experimented with the transformations, he noticed something peculiar. While the tail had the most definition attributes, it consumed the least amount of souls. This baffled him because, according to the rule of more definition attributes meaning more consumption, it should have been the opposite. He scratched his head, pondering this anomaly.

Alexander finally had an "aha" moment! The reason behind the discrepancy was his initial material definition for his hands as steel. Turning them into metal with the flexibility of living tissue required more effort, and hence the higher consumption of souls.

On the other hand, the tail, despite having numerous definition attributes, was still bone-like in quality, which meant it could be realized through the proliferation of his own skeletal cells. The "steel" definition merely aimed to strengthen the bones, making the overall transformation easier compared to the hands.

The T virus, after his additional definitions, became the perfect fortification agent, but its exceptional potency also led to a higher consumption of souls.

Now that he understood the dynamics better, Alexander's path became clearer. He decided to start with transforming his tail to eliminate his weaknesses first. That way, he could tackle any challenges head-on with newfound power.

As Alexander shaped the tail on his body and saved the transformation, a tingling sensation washed over his spine, making him squirm in discomfort. It felt like an army of ants was having a party on his back! But he knew better than to move and endure the sensation, hoping it would subside soon.

Time seemed to stretch on, and just when he thought he couldn't take it anymore, the itchiness finally vanished, leaving behind a strange sense of power coursing through him. Alexander couldn't help but grin in excitement, eager to unleash his newly acquired tail and take on whatever adventure lay ahead!
