Wolf Fang roared painfully as he saw Boss Yi's head spinning in the air; he howled in pain as he charged at Kai and started attacking mindlessly like a madman.
"Die, die, die, die, bastard," he roared as he smashed his hammer heavily at Kai, and with each attack, Wolf Fang was losing consciousness to his hatred. His blood became chaotic as he started having Qi deviation.
Kai noticed the chaotic flow going on within Wolf Fang, he felt pity for him, and he wondered if it were him in Wolf Fang's situation, he would have ended up in the same way. Because he had no family, and the only family he had were Master Wu and Mei, if anyone were to take them away from him. he won't mind becoming a mindless devil that slaughtered without any conscience.
"I will send you off to your family." Kai roared and willed a vast amount of energy into his saber, "Avalanche saber Crush," he slashed forward heavily.
"Die, die," Wolf Fang charged recklessly toward Kai's attack, and immediately he came in contact with the attack; he was crushed to pieces, and the saber strike annihilated him completely, sending him off to join his family in the afterlife.
Kai sighed, he knew the fight with Wolf Fang was not supposed to be as easy as it was, and this was because Wolf Fang lost his sense of reasoning immediately after he wiped out his gang members.
He knew if Wolf Fang was cooled-headed throughout the fight, he would be left with no choice but to escape from him.
"Was I wrong for killing them? or was I right for taking their life first since they also wanted to take my life?" Kai started questioning himself.
Kai could be considered a newbie in the path of cultivation, and his heart was not stable enough, so experiencing multiple situations consecutively shooked his heart to its core, and he became confused.
He took a deep breath, throwing the thought to the back of his mind before stepping into the barrier leading to the third layer of the first level, and this is the last and most crucial layer where the devil general lives.

In the third layer of the third level of purgatory land, a demonic woman stood in the air majestically; the surrounding air flapped her black hair and black cloth that exposed some part of her body; she had a bone sword attached to her back.
This woman is Xieling, and Caihong is also standing behind her. "Sister xieling, can I ask you two questions?" caihong asked.
Xieling expression was always cold to everyone. However, she smiled when Caihong spoke to her; this showed how much affection she had for her. She nodded at caihong as a gesture of approval.
"Thank you, sister; my first question is, what do you see in Kai for you to care so much about him," Caihong asked curiously.
Xieling sighed heavily, "I know on the surface, there is nothing special about Kai; however, he had a strong will, and also, his path of cultivation is different, unique, and terrifying; I was only able to feel this because of the cultivation technique I practice." she continued. "The first time I saw him, my cultivation technique started circulating itself, and you know that my cultivation technique contained too much Yin energy."
"Oh, I see, so which means you have already chosen Kai as your Dao partner," Caihong replied teasingly.
Xieling blushed a little before her expression turned cold again. "Humph, Kai is lucky to be chosen by you as Dao partner," Caihong added.
Xieling shook her head upon hearing Caihong's words, "You've got it wrong; I am the lucky one for being Kai Dao's partner. Kai is like a diamond covered in dust; one day, his brightness will illuminate the world, don't underestimate his potential, as it is limitless". Xieling explained.
Caihong nodded, "Secondly, why do you send him alone on such a mission? Because I felt like it's a suicide mission." she asked.
"Kai's path is that of a warrior that needs to be on the battlefield constantly; if there is no pressure, he won't grow; he is like a sword that needs to be tempered continuously before it becomes sharp enough to split everything in its path. Kai can only grow stronger if the pressure threatens his life; without that, he will remain stagnant in his current stage." Xieling explained.
Caihong nodded that she understood; however, deep in her mind, she wasn't clear enough. Xieling noticed that but wasn't willing to explain further as time would reveal the truth anyway.
"Alright, let's leave Kai to deal with his matter while we focus on ours as we have a terrifying existence to battle; we have to do everything we can to get what we came here for, understood?" Xieling stated.
Caihong nodded, but then she looked at Xieling with a questioning gaze, "Is it for him?" she asked. But Xieling grunted before stepping forward and rushing to the distance.
Caihong giggled before following her.

In a large courtyard located in the core region of the Heavenly Demon sect, a young man was seated on a throne while three other young men sat around him. The young man seated on the throne is Gu-Chen, and he has a frown on his face currently.
