He looked at Aubrey and gave her a strained smile.

"Hey Sunshine." Rhyland said before he could stop himself and Aubrey's eyes widened at the endearment.

"Sorry." He said apologetically.

Aubrey swallowed and nodded. She turned around and blinked back tears.

A few seconds passed in silence.

"Are you alright?" She asked again, more calmly this time.

"Yes." Rhyland said, looking away. 'Damn! I couldn't help myself back there.' This entire experience was so difficult. He took a quick glance at his member and sighed in relief. 'Oh great it's down.'

'He probably mistook me for Natasha.' Aubrey thought suddenly, her eyes downcast. Her lips trembled. 'Don't cry, Aubrey. Don't cry.'

"How uhh… how've you been?" Rhyland cleared his throat.

"Good." Aubrey furrowed her brows. 'Why was he asking this?'

"How's Nana Bella?" Rhyland tried again.

"Good." Aubrey answered tersely, more tense this time.
